I have been privileged to work with Steve through a program of coaching over 12 months (due to my health issues extending the time for which Steve was available and he was really supportive). Steve is a fantastic coach - and the best ther is - he called me out on my bullshit and encouraged me to be brave. It is it is coaching, not counselling!!!
Steve chatted with me to determine the best way forward and how he could help me. For me, that was learning to be my own best leader in my life. I have shied away from anything remotely linked to leadership roles and Steve helped me see that to truly function as a successful human being I needed to man-up and be my own best leader - no longer seeking confirmation and guidance purely from outside myself, but giving me permission to make decisions about what I am going to do, how I am going to do it and showing up and doing it. He covered a range of leadership topics, which are invaluable not only for leaders but also for people like me who have lost their way/direction in life and want to get back on track and don’t know how to do that. Steve held my hand metaphorically and encouraged me to make the changes in myself that have enabled me to live my best life doing the things I want to do rather than what I perceive others think I should do. Steve is an excellent presenter and can make a room full of people feel comfortable and receptive. His insights into leadership centre prominently on learning about your own reactions and how to be in conscious control of yourself. Work on yourself and you'll work better with others. Steve is an excellent communicator and does a fantastic job of delivering the material he has compiled in a way that is easy for all workshop participants to understand. I highly recommend for anyone to undertake the Soft Leadership Skills course, at a minimum, when it comes to leadership. This particular course is beneficial for anybody, in all facets of life, as we encounter other people and can tailor our engagement once we have better understanding of each other.
