I was looking for a good GP when I moved here and I will stay with Dr Joanna Zakrewski. My first appointment with her wasn’t good cause she seemed a bit unfriendly and rushed. But I totally changed my opinion about her because she’s highly competent and takes her job serious. She helped me a lot. She can be a bit special sometimes in her way of communicating but she’s a very good doc! Especially for women’s health I totally recommend her!

Dr Atanis has been the best doctor for our whole family. So attentive, genuinely caring, thorough and doesn’t make you feel rushed. Incredible with the kids!! So happy to have found someone we can turn to, and there is usually always someone else to see if she’s unavailable.

I waited for over four hours, from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm, and unfortunately, I didn't get the opportunity to speak with Dr. Batagol. This experience was not only unhelpful but also exhausting, especially since I'm currently unwell and need to prioritize my rest and obtain a medical certificate for my workplace.
I was advised that the doctor called x5 times and that the number was blocked, I followed up three times and received different responses.

I have seen Dr Atanis and am very happy with her care. She listens, runs on time, is rarely late, and she has a professional manner in dealing with concerns. I mostly book my appts online which I find easy to navigate and it suits me. She is also very good with my kids.

Rude receptionist and rude doctor.

I’ve been to this practice twice. On the first occasion, I waited 45 minutes to see Dr Jo. Feeling frustrated about the waiting time I went to the receptionist and asked how much longer I would have to wait, the receptionist staff said I was next. I went back to sit down and Dr Jo came out looking annoyed, when I sat down with her she then basically told me off for being 45 minutes late at which point I told her I was there on time and had waited 45 minutes as well. She then told me the receptionist must not have notified her on my arrival. I understand it may be a mistake but what kind of doctor blames the patient without first checking if the patient was actually at fault?!

My second time, I called to make an appointment and was on the receiving end of an extremely rude staff member who basically told me she couldn’t help me as they were all booked out. She did not ask me if I was available on a different day until I asked her. She finally told me that there was a 4.30 appointment and I said pm?… as I was thinking whether I was available at that time she said “well obviously I’m not working at 4.30am” I was taken aback. She then said “you do know we don’t bulk bill?” As if assuming I wasn’t able to afford the appt. At this point I had enough of her tone and rude manner and asked her why she had to be so rude. I think that caught her off guard as she promptly said “I’m not being rude, sorry if you think I’m being rude” and swiftly changed her tone from that point on. Luckily I didn’t see the horrendous Dr Jo at this appointment and had a lovely doctor. However my experiences have left me looking for a better medical practice in the future.
