Did they get the job done - Yes . Was it a pleasant transaction No . Was recommended to Tanya and the first phone call was great . I explained I hadn’t sold a property before in QLD and I needed some hand holding . After a myriad of forms sent via email with no explanation I tried to call. Called her on her mobile left a message and called the office . Long story short is they do not like phone calls and all correspondence is done by email . I m the customer and I don’t work like this and I advised her of this on our one and only phone call . She sent a very terse email at one stage couldn’t believe you could correspond with a client like that .

I wanted to like Tanya. Or feel she was capable and somewhat caring. She took over from my parents long time solicitor. My parents wanted to update their wills. Dad at 94 was able to update his and do a new EPOA. My mother at 91, has some dementia ( who doesn’t at 91 ) She wanted to change her will to match my Dad and cut a relative out. She was clear on that. Tanya was not convinced , so there was no redoing the Will or EPOA, which left me as executor with no ability to take care of expenses , Mum’s nursing home, Dad’s funeral expenses etc. I now have to apply to QCAT to be administrator for Mum, who is mentally slipping. If Tanya had let her sign a new will and EPOA, I wouldn’t have to be jumping through hoops so I can pay my parents bills. My mother was clear about her wishes. I cannot recommend Tanya or her firm.
