Exceptional Service at VFS Global Sydney - walk in appointment. Went around 8.15 and door opens exactly at 8.30 and tokens provided.

I had the pleasure of visiting VFS Global Sydney twice—first on the 6th of June and then again today—and I must say, both experiences exceeded my expectations. The professionalism and efficiency of the entire team are commendable, but I would especially like to highlight the outstanding care and attention to detail demonstrated by Ms. Chaitanya.

From the moment I arrived, Ms. Chaitanya greeted me with warmth and professionalism. She took the time to thoroughly review my documents, ensuring everything was in order before proceeding. Her attention to detail was remarkable; she noticed minor issues that could have easily been overlooked and guided me through the corrections with patience and clarity.. Her dedication to ensuring a smooth, stress-free experience truly sets her apart.

I visited VFS Sydney for a passport service for myself and my wife. The staff at the reception and Officer Chaitanya, who handled my application, were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I went there to get my PoA attested, it was an extremely frustrating experience. The management is terrible. They make you wait for an hour only to tell you later that something is missing in your documents. Their office hours are only until 3 PM, which makes it very inconvenient.

There’s no clear communication about what exactly is required, and no one at the reception to guide you. I had to go there three days in a row, each time waiting for an hour and leaving work early, simply because the staff failed to communicate properly.

On top of that, the staff is rude and unhelpful, they seem to expect you to already know everything without offering any guidance. Overall, very disappointing service.

Very unprofessional staff.
Their website doesn’t give the necessary information about what documents to bring. I looked everywhere on their website but couldn’t find anything then I gave them a call. But still when I went there they wanted some more documents which wasn’t even mentioned on their website.
I thought of printing those documents while I was there coz I had those documents in my email but the staff guy said I had to come again with a new token like what….
I already waited 3 hours just to hear some bullshit that is not mentioned on your website and now you want me to come with new token and wait another 3 hours.
VFS really needs to update their website regularly and train their staff for customer service.
The faces of their staff seem to be very rude and unprofessional.

Absolutely pathetic service.
Made an application for passport renewal which is supposed to take 6 to 8 weeks. And application status is same as the first day. Phone calls doesn't work usual reply please wait. Why is the timeframe given when you can't get it done on time. Behaving and work like an Indian Govt office. Nothing more to expected.

I had a very disappointing experience at VFS Global Sydney while trying to renew my passport. I ended up waiting for almost three hours, despite having an appointment. What made it worse was the behavior of the staff, especially the lady at the gate — she was extremely rude and dismissive, offering no help or courtesy. For a service related to such an important document, I expected at least basic professionalism and respect. VFS seriously needs to improve both its customer service and appointment management.
