My experience with Tempest Legal was exceptionally excellent. I cannot fault the team at Tempest Legal in any way. My lawyer, Gemma Lawless, went above and beyond in assisting me with my court matter and through her diligent efforts my matter was Thankfully dismissed. The advice provided was very helpful and I was guided every step of the way through the number of court dealings. The communication was concise and timely and the customer service was stellar to say the very least. I cannot recommend Tempest Legal enough to you and believe me you can trust them and depend on them 100% Thank you Tempest Legal for everything 😊

worst firm ever!! not worth the one star
never returned a phone call, couldnt be bothered to return a message. Missed multiple court dates. they just didnt care. steer clear of this place if your in need of legal help or advice
totally unprofessional. now that we have a new firm they refuse to send the files over. absolutely disgraceful place

I never said I was a client of yours Skye. A family member was. You do with hold files. You are unprofessional, rude, disrespectful and just generally a lazy and horrible person. You couldn't have cared less about our case.
We had to put in a formal complaint and get a transfer to another firm, as you couldn't be bothered to even return a simple phone call.

She is quick to respond when needed all while she juggles the demands of her other clients, trials, meetings and so forth and gets results most importantly. I called to make a legal aid covered appointment with this firm in regards to family law. The receptionist began asking questions regarding what exactly I was wanting advice on.
When I mentioned protection orders I was told it is a criminal matter and will require another application.
Obviously the reason I am seeking legal advice is to understand the legal process and be advised on what to do, and that I expected from the appointment with the solicitor, not the phone call with the receptionist.
The receptionist hung up on me, twice.

Family Law, I do not recommend this firm.

Severe lack in empathy and compassion from the receptionist.

Upon being told it was a criminal matter, I asked even with children involved? That was when reception first hung up on me.
I called back to be told the same details, and when I said I still wanted to go ahead with this, being the making of the appointment for legal advice , the receptionist said 'I can't'. She was regarding to the protection order though. Then she said she will end the call.
I was left discombobulated to say the least.
I've been given advice and even had some things explained to me whilst I am dealing with family law matters, and always treated very much with compassion, not hung up on for not understanding the legal process.
If my matter is too much for this firm to handle themselves, simply navigating me towards a more capable law firm would have been better guidance,

Absolute garbage of lawyers.
Lies about the case, does not inform you of court outcomes, does not make contact nor replies to emails/calls, does not notify you of change of times for appointments and then does not allow you your appointment as you arrived at original agreed time (they changed without notice)

Then they go and lie to legal aid about us not making contact (when it was their lack of communication and we called them out on it). Instead of trying to transfer the case they try to cancel you hole application thats been 3yrs of battling in court (they were new lawyer's to us)..
Now we have to prove to legal aid it was them, not us (we have email and txt records), so not hard to prove.

Once again Absolute garbage lawyer's.
Avoid like the plague
