Our refinance settlement was delayed for one day, the next day the updated payout amount we received was increased by $690 , and $400 more out of it was charged LodgeX legal. I called our lender and they did not tell us why there was an increase. Our new lender solicitor enquired LodgeX too, but no response either. I wonder why no one is willing to answer the question, why fee increased by $400 within 24 hours? We are still finding a way trying yo find out the answer. Just a heads up to everyone this is something that needs to be mindful with their pay out amounts .

My lawyer Skye Hansen from LodgeX Legal was friendly, knowledgeable, super helpful, easy to contact during the conveyancing on an investment property I had purchased interstate. Skye kept me updated along the way and everything was explained clearly and there was no fuss or stress for me. Being able to do everything electronically was great.

I used Lodgex for conveyancing and settlement services when selling our home in Carlton North recently and dealt with several of the Lodgex team over a 4 week period. I had the services of Lodge X recommended to me by a colleague because of the expense related to being registered with SPEAR. As I only do minimal matters requiring the SPEAR platform. It allows me to take on the work and outsource the lodgement process to Lodge X. I recently submitted a 2 Lot subdivision via Lodge X. It cost about $180 incl GST and was completed with separate titles available in under 7 days. I will be using them whenever this type of work arises.

I have had several dealings with Kathy and her team at LodgeX on the commercial side of leasing for clients and also the selling side for clients preparing documentation and giving outstanding up to date advice. I was recommended Alfred Manuka from LodgeX, by a friend, to act as my Solicitor throughout the process of obtaining my first property. I cannot stress enough how unprofessional he was. Didn't respond to any of my calls (only called when he needed questions of his own answered), would respond late to my emails constantly, never kept me up to date when asked what stage we were up to or what I had to do next. Constantly ignored everyone of my questions that I had to check if I had actually sent them.
There was issue I encountered close to Settlement date where I could not for the life of me find an authentic original Birth Certificate for the Transfer Title papers. I needed an extension while I obtained a new Birth Certificate. BDM Australia were near impossible to contact during covid and would take forever responding to emails. Alfred was equally as impossible in responding to my request for an extension on Settlement date. As a new home buyer I was stressing on not being able to make the date and Alfred offered little to no help. Even a request, asking if "there was anything he reccomend I do", he did not bother helping one bit and instead responded back a week later reiterating his late email to me; how Important it was I get the transfer titles to him (adding to my anxiety that he was not there to help and only there to get paid).
He single handedly made my experience of obtaining my first house go from new and exciting to stressful and scary.
If you go through LodgeX I highly recommend you don't use Alfred.
