I haven't witnessed anything as filthy as workers at Macksville Post Office. 7 people went to pick up packages 6 of 7 people in front of me were white. The white folk just show their tickets and they are given their mail without a problem. But when it was the turn of the person in front of me who was a minority (Brown man), the worker asked him for identification in a very rude way, then proceeds to yell at him multiple times in front of everyone. It's not the first or second time I've witnessed this behavior at Macksville Post Office. I can only conclude they are very racists. Of the 3 workers I have seen there, the younger of the 3 is pleasant and professional, the older 2 definitely are not.

A big shout out to the postman for going above and beyond his job for me today. I received a slip in the mailbox saying that I had to go to the post office to pick up a letter. I flagged him down as he delivered across the road and asked him about it. He said I would need to go to the post office to get it as he didn’t have it on him. I told him that I had just had a caesarean and would find that a little tricky.
Within the hour, there was a knock on my door and it was the postman with my letter. He had gone and gotten the letter for me so I didn’t have to work out how to get it for myself. It was the sweetest gesture and definitely wasn’t something I was expecting.

After an experience at the Mackville post office I have decided to write this review. The 2 older women who work there are so racist towards people of color/ minority. they should feel ashamed of their inappropriate and unacceptable behavior.

These people are rude and there posties and delivery drivers lie. They say they try to deliver and drop a card in the post box. THAT IS A LIE. They say that no one was home when they arrived. THAT IS A LIE.
They say the girls at at post office are friendly and helpful. THAT IS A LIE. ITS ALL LIES. I THINK OMBUMAN MIGHT BE ON THE WAY FROM ME.
