I hired this firm more than two months before my hearing. Despite repeatedly asking to speak to a lawyer, I never received a single call or reply from one. All communication from the office was CC’d to Michelle Lester, but she never contacted me directly.

They claimed they only received the brief of evidence on Wednesday, July 9, but I personally picked it up from the police, and it was clearly dated June 28. So they either lied or didn’t bother to check.

They finally scheduled a phone call with Michelle for Thursday, July 10 — just three business days before my court date on Tuesday the 15th — and then missed it without explanation. After two emails and two follow-up phone calls, they rescheduled for Monday the 14th at 4pm, but again gave me no reply in writing — just a call.

I went to their office in person on Friday, July 11, trying to get answers. I was shocked to learn that my lawyer had been changed without notice, and that the new lawyer had gone home sick at lunch the day before. When I asked why no one had contacted me about this or told me what the backup plan was, Michelle asked me to leave. When I asked again why my lawyer had been changed without any notice, she said, “I’m not the boss.”

Later that same day, Tessa, the actual boss, called and told me they were dropping my case entirely — with no written explanation and only two business days left before my hearing.

This firm showed zero communication, no transparency, and no basic professional responsibility. They left me unrepresented just days before court, after lying about evidence and failing to follow through on calls. They should not be trusted with anyone’s legal matter.

These guys were terrible night before my court date they still had no idea what was going on and they had details well in advance I wouldn’t go back ever
