I have stayed as Lyndsay's Bed and Breakfast a few times whilst I was working in the area. I stay downstairs in the single room which is self contained and is always clean and tidy with extras such as a continental breakfast and DVD's to watch. Lyndsay is a good host with a lovely garden and a nice BBQ area to cook on in summer time. Lyndsay has always been polite and welcoming to me and when I go back to Millmerran for work I will be staying at his accommodation again. Thank you for the wonderful stays.

The perfect place to be in Millmerran!
We spent 3 months with Lindsay and it was pure bliss.
We stayed in a well-equipped ground floor apartment, very nice bed.
The garden was very pleasant. We were able to have campfires on cool nights.

I found this B & B at Millmerran while travelling out to Goondiwindi for business. i have stayed here a few times. I know this B & B as I have stayed here 3 times over last year, and will continue to do so every time I'am out that way.
By the way if anyone else has stopped here, please write a review to justify my review. 27/3/2025 I FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THE POSTED REVIEW SAYING THAT THIS PLACE IS A HEATH HAZARD, FIRE HAZARD AND DERELIT HOVEL DID THE WRITER ACTUALLY STAY AT THIS PLACE. I STAYED THERE NO PROBLEMS

We were doing the long 14 hour dash for the closing Queensland border to return home from the snow. We called Lindsay and he offered to leave the lights on and the door open for us to arrive at 2am. We arrived to find this quaint, welcoming and warm apartment and enjoyed a hot shower and comfortable bed. Lindsay was so friendly when we ran into him in his beautiful garden. Thank you again for helping us out Lindsay. Another plus is a fabulous cafe at the front of the property, serving excellent coffee and gourmet breakfasts.

Driving interstate, I asked if I could pay for a room to nap in while I waited for the local mechanic to fix my car.

A friendly man, showed me to a fresh and light-filled private room. He insisted he wouldn't take any money from me. Two hours later I was back on the road, well rested.

I would recommend this place to anyone purely on the kindness of the people running it, who doesn't want to be in good hands?! The rooms are lovely though too, fresh, light filled, comfy beds and plenty of room for the a whole family.

Lyndsey was a wonderful host! We felt very welcomed and looked after. Our stay in this beautiful Queenslander was very comfortable and the gardens a real joy to wake up to.

Don’t be fooled by the reviews. This place is a health hazard and a fire trap. A derelict hovel!

"I was deceived by the reviews. As a foreigner on a working holiday in Australia, I came to work in Millmerran. It's challenging to find rental housing here, so when we saw positive reviews about this house, we inquired with the owner. The elderly man who owns the house said we could stay, but if we wanted to leave, we needed to tell him one week in advance. We agreed, but after moving in, it turned into a nightmare. The elderly man seemed controlling, dictating how we cook and wash dishes, on weekends, he would wake us up if we slept too late (without knocking, just opening the door). He even directly drank our milk from the fridge. Due to these issues and his unreasonably high fees, we found another place to rent and informed him one week in advance that we were moving out, and he agreed. However, on the day of the move, he refused to return our deposit, a total of over $800 AUD, which was extremely unfair. We had cleaned the house thoroughly and informed him in advance.

PS: A reminder to travelers considering renting here, be sure to think it through, especially for girls.Additionally, if you decide to rent, please request him to provide a contract.
