no interest in residents, only interested in increasing rates to pay for their burgeoning beauracracy which only exists to rubber stamp over priced and inaccessible property development, shafted families who need even just modest levels child care facilities repeatedly now, see the end of kids club at the rec centre, the latest being the nixxing of a centre right next to the ever growing primary school, in an ever growing suburb, that still only had one access road, I think the team at the Utopian NBA could do a better job than this lot, useless. 5 stars if you've got an old farm near town and you want to make mega Bux.

Spent Easter in the region .People attractions weather all spot on and we had a great time
HOWEVER the Shire proved to be out of touch with reality .They have gone to the trouble of installing a dump point , well signed , accessible and locked . Unbelievable that this would be locked over a period as busy as Easter . The shire provides toilets consumables and cleaning for the thousands of people who utilize the public toilets and yet those of us who are fully self contained and simply need a legal disposal point are refused . We tried to access the key but all were closed for Easter . We even tried the a/h number and left a message but didn't get a response so to the Shire a massive Brick Bat from the motorhome public for having the only accessible dump point in the region effectively non operational . As a premier tourist region you really need to get your act together on this . You cannot reasonably expect the travelling motorhome public to support your region when we are denied one of the most basic necessities Bloody stupidity

I went there twice because i just wanted some old corrugated iron and old ringlock fencing, but i was turned away because of one injury, i dont know and dont want to know. The point is that the insanity regarding waste management in this area has reached a point where the public arent even alowed in to collect and reuse rubbish!

We have CEO who is intent on forcing rate payers to increase our debt and rates so he can install an Art Gallery and yet he has very poor taste in Art, declaring the the Shire Building he had built 'is a beautiful building' though it looks like a modern shed with very stark lines.
