Love bringing my daughter here to encourage her to read more books and get away from all the digital gadgets that's surrounding her very existence. Library staff are too nice and always takes good care of us when we come. The childrens section is nicely decorated and books are plenty.

I have only been here once so I can't fairly give five stars, though I will update it if the experience is representative of usual visits.

Firstly, I signed up for a card which was quick and easy, the staff were pleasant, there appeared to be an excellent selection of books and, for the first time in many years, I was happily browsing a library that want filled with people on phones, children running amok, students talking loudly about anything except the subject they are supposed to be studying and a plethora of other irksome habits that have become tolerated in other libraries.

The library itself has a high ceiling, much of which is glass, this combined with the many windows means there is plenty of natural light; making it a nice space to browse or read.

Even if it had terrible staff and stocked only Dan Brown novels (which it does not) it would probably be better than other libraries just for the ambiance, layout and light.

My favourite library in the area. It is laid out nicely, the shelves aren't too close together avoiding that 'cramped' feeling that you find in some libraries. It has lots of nooks and crannies around where you can sit and have a read. There's lots of facilities (free wifi, free gaming consoles, free PCs) and there is a large range of books, DVDs, CDs etc. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Overall, a very enjoyable place to be.

My daughter and I love going here!
Welcomed by someone at the front desk if we need help with anything. Games section (xbox or PS - can't remember), wifi, computers, printer, study rooms, comfy couches and cosy corners everywhere, community noticeboard with local info on activities/events/workshops etc happening in Kwinana, always a fun display for the kids with an interactive part that they can get involved in if they want, the kids section at the back is amazing and the books they have are inclusive of so many cultures and languages for all ages, the adults books selection is massive. Can borrow items for yourself or they'll show you how to do it. Can extend your borrowed items online or in person. It really does feel like OUR community resource centre. THANK YOU!!!!!

Kwinana Library is a very, very basic depository of books. I feel like I've entered a country town when I enter it. Their catalogue boasts 40,000 items to choose from, which sounds like a lot of reading material, but in the flesh amounts to nothing more than a 12 shelves of material. They have a small selection of the usual genres, some magazines, DVDs, videos and cassette tapes, as well as council minutes, policies and public discussion documents. There is free internet access, but the computers are slightly Jurassic and there are only of them. For a relatively new suburb, I'd expected something far more modern! Could definitely do with some amping up.

A great facility generally. Thanks I believe to the State Government.
However shamefully the Local Government Library are price gouging with a 40 cent cost to print or copy one side of a page of black and white text.
Double the price of other public libraries.
Sad as the area has a lot of students struggling in a lower socioeconomic area.
KWINANA Council generally seems to like to squeeze its customers.
For those with transport. You can print for 10 cents at the OFFICEWORKS.
