Overall I give this retailer 1 star, I felt dissatisfied as a customer and have visited this shop a handful of times. I will most likely avoid using this retailer again. I had received an email telling me I had a package to pick up. I went in early to pick it up and when I approached the manager she had told me that the courier comapany was lying to me and that she had no parcels. She wouldn't even check for me she just said no it's not here you need to call the courier company. I left and called the courier company who had told me yes the parcel had been dropped there two days previous. I decided to call the news agency that day at around 9 am. I asked the girl on the phone if I had a parcel there and she flat out said no. She didn't check my name or anything just said no nothing is here as the courier company does not do drop offs until 2pm. I asked her to please check as I had received confirmation from the courier company. She said okay il check but I know it's not there. She picked up the phone a minute later saying yes it's here. This was appalling cause not even three hours earlier I was in that shop. This was a massive inconvenience for me as I then could not pick that parcel up for another four days as I was away. I collected my parcel today. The owner knew who I was straight away and proceeded to hand me off to another employee. I feel as though the owner/manager should have dealt with me personally to apologise for their stuff up. She did not. I was forced to wait 10 minutes as the employee who was trying to serve me could not operate the computer system. I was not wished a good day or even a sincere apology. I work in customer service so I understand that sometimes things happen but when those customers come in that have had a bad experience, as a manager you should be trying to turn their opinion of your business around. I will not be using this retailer again.
