My favourite Cairns Shopping Centre, DFO Cairns has great access for people with disabilities, including undercover parking. It is also kept clean and tidy, which is great for everyone.

DFO has a lot of different shops and food areas for you. You can get there by car or bus from Cairns.

It's a mall,with everything you need,it has a large carpark,but if you park near hungry jacks, its a long walk to the entrance . Coles is open to 8pm, but most shops shut at 5.30pm.

Not bad, but don't expect amazing deals everywhere. Much of the time the prices are the same as sale items elsewhere. This being said, I did find a few items that were quite cheap.

If you buy any kind of clothes at factory make sure that doesn't have any stain before you leave the store. I purchased a top and I didn't realise that have some stain so I went back to the store at the next day and I wanted to change it for another one. Never wear the top, still with the tag on it and they didn't want to give me another one 😒

This isn’t the best DFO I have been to (I’d recommend Harbour Town in the Gold Coast or DFO in Melbourne City) however there is a good range of shops including Cotton On Mega and TK Maxx, with a golf simulator experience and Coles as well

Having visited DFO Cairns multiple times over the years, I have always appreciated the variety of shops and opportunities for purchasing quality items. However, my recent visit left me extremely disappointed. I went with the intention of buying a pair of joggers, only to find that a significant number of shops were closed, severely limiting my options.
The lack of variety meant that only one store was selling joggers, and they were limited to their own brand. This made my visit feel pointless, as there was no real choice or reason to stay longer. It is unfortunate to see a place that once provided such a diverse shopping experience now appear to be dwindling in its offerings. I hope the situation improves, and the centre regains its vibrancy in the near future.

Lots of good shops with heaps of excellent discounts got myself a new set of tramping boots and a windproof jacket saved hundreds of dollars well worth a look.
