This library has the most helpful staff possible, the place itself is peaceful/quiet and I love spending time there reminds me of how libraries used to be there is however a problem for me when studying that is mother and toddlers days then it becomes more of a creche and a mother's "catch up" place
There are meeting rooms there which are often empty which could be used on these creche days

Library itself is very good located and comfortable! But! Some peoples are so noisy! And keep talking talking talking talking... Or kids so noisy... Can't focused and concentrate on the work or study... And someone stole the lighters and ring bells from our bikes after 20 minutes - right after we are arrive there! Which we are parking and locked on the bike spaces behind library... Just in front of Bassendean Council... No cameras outside? IDK...

A great community service for Bassendean and surrounding suburbs. Friendly, expert staff are always available to help with everything from children’s books to encyclopaedic resources for students of the university of the third age. PCs, scanning & photocopying facilities, newspapers, comfy couches fill the relatively small but centrally located library. And the view is relaxing.

I have been coming to the library between 2020 to 2022, and it's a good place to be productive.

The place is well maintained and the staff are helpful. The computers run smoothly and there is a wide range if books to choose from.

Only problem I have had was that there could have been more parking. Otherwise, amazing library 🙂

I enjoy going to the Bassendean Library. It is modern, clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend it to any one who wants to study. There are lots of benches and spaces to work. It also has a great children's area with lots of large mats to play on. On the downside, the computers are old and slow but apart from that it's wonderful!

Everything about the library is great, staff, resources etc. However, it's often very loud. Bring headphones.
