I've just requested my third strata report from EYEON. The previous two reports highlighted defect issues that had been downplayed or were unknown to the RE agents. The EYEON reports were extensive and provided records of correspondence and minutes from the owners corps and their legal advisers. I was therefore able to make informed cool-headed decisions about the properties concerned. While the apartments themselves were attractive and suited my needs, the prospect of costly defect rectification payments (~$80,000) and ongoing associated litigation costs, meant I was comfortable walking away from becoming entangled. EYEON staff have always responded promptly, and reports have been provided within a matter of days of request. Very happy to recommend.

I am so happy that I found EYEON to help me unpack my strata report. I had purchased my strata report from a third party, ‘Before You Buy’ and it included 400+ pages. Due to my limited knowledge of financial literacy, it was hard for me to understand most parts. The inspector, Mathew, who completed my strata report did not seem like he wanted to help me and advised me to speak to a solicitor, although he was the one suggesting on the report that if I had any questions, then I should reach out. I was feeling hopeless and lost as I did not know who to turn to (my conveyancer could not review the strata report as it is not in her scope of work). To expensive just before 2 days I had an other strata report from an other company which they charge me $50 and this one $380 and they where to slow almost loosing my cooling period

90-95% of the report seems like copy pasted boilerplate

you try extra hard to dig through useless generic jargon to get to what is actually written and reported by the inspector

then each line by the inspector says, "we could not access the area due to furniture obstruction etc." Despite ample room to access. Or having to move a pot plant a meter or so.

despite paying extra for the pest report they missed a gigantic hole in the fascia caused by vermin.

the pest report itself seems like a copy paste of wikipedia text on termites.

Highly recommend EYEON to anyone looking to buy property. The property I was interested in already had a strata report arranged by the agent. Luckily, my lawyer recommended getting an independent report done just to be sure. As it turned out, the strata report supplied by the agent was missing important information relating to planned major works in the building, therefore, failing to highlight the fact that significant special levies or a loan will be required – very disappointing and misleading. EYEON’s customer service team have also provided a wonderful support, spending close to an hour on the phone with me going through the report and its findings. Thank you so much, good customer service is so rare to come by these days and it truly makes all the difference!

We were going to auction to buy an apartment in Mosman and the vendor had Eye-On performed strata report available to potential purchasers at a cost of $39. However should you end up buying the property then you pay another $239. This is still cheaper than going to a traditional strata mgmt company to get such reports and in addition whether you buy the property or not you pay the full price with other strata mgmt reports. And EyeOn strata report pointed out items the agent "missed". Also a day before the auction EyeOn updated us with the latest copy of AGM notes they got hold of. So it was not about just paying for the report and that's the end of it. Any further info EyeOn will forward to you regardless. What an honest and fair company! Others would ask for more $$$ for the additional info. I think the service Eye-On offer to potential buyers @ $39 is excellent value and fair. This also encourages buyers to use this service and everyone benefits. We have just bought another property and am calling EyeOn today to have them inspect our new purchase before the end of the cooling off period. Keep up the good work and reasonable pricing. And yes your customer service is EXCELLENT!
