This is a beautiful beach worth visiting. We had a short visit here during our road trip from QLD to Melbourne. The weather was great and the beach was pretty empty. It was a very relaxing atmosphere.

Great place to walk, run or exercise your dog. You can swim surf and see also dolphins. Great place to see South Solitary Island Lighthouse. Shower available at Lakeside Drive entrance and Beach Stone entrance.

This is a dog ON lead beach . Too many dogs off lead and not under effective control had a nasty incident with aggressive dog .

Located in New South Wales on the mid north coast this small place has a beautiful long beach. Not really suitable for inexperienced swimmers because of the strong waves and current. Having said that, it is still one of the favourite places if you like land based fishing. There are numerous deep holes and large catches are registered there. in Palm beach itself are amenities and a nice place for a cup of coffee or tea and some food. I have never seen it crowded on the beach but it is a beautiful place to make real long beach walks.
