Stayed there for over a week, had a great time. Owners were amazing, helped us a lot. Almost felt like family. Would come back anytime. Burgers are delicious and you don't want to miss out on the chips! Vegetarian options on the regular menu would be appreciated.

We went here for Sunday lunch and found the service extremely poor. We were asked to find our own table and menus will be brought out to us. While waiting for ten to fifteen minutes. We watched as the waitress walked several different groups of people to tables and delivered menus and water instantly. We waited patiently as she cleaned tables around us. And felt as though she was totally ignoring us.
We then approached the counter bar area and kindly asked for menus. The lady working the bar was quite lovely and asked us to grab the menu and kindly wait.
As we did but still the waitress avoided us completely.
We then decided to leave advised the waitress we are leaving and her response was a cold ok.
Amazingly absolutely no care that customers are walking away. All good. We are not coming back never again and hope we were the only one who didn’t get treated by them nicely.

Stunning menu, fresh ingredients, beautifully presented and great value for money. Very friendly staff and proprietors and great to see a grand old Art Deco building being brought back to its former glory. It is no coincidence that I found myself there every day for breakfast over the four weeks I was at Flying Fish Point.

This old pub has certainly got a new lease on life. It’s nicely renovated (they moved on the riff-raff) and has phenomenal service. The chef is doing a great job dishing up tasty dishes and clearly using local produce where possible. I was pleasantly surprised and it’s now the first suggestion for dinner in town.

Just had lunch, and it was amazing. I received bad news during my lunch and had a little cry at my table. On leaving one of the waitresses presented me with a take away of something sweet to cheer me up. Such a lovely gesture and very much appreciated.

Service wasn’t up to scratch even if the staff were polite, after ordering drinks it was 10-15min turn around from ordering at bar to table service to received to table for anything that wasn’t a beer. Food service was about 20-30min from the menu and as soon as closing time approached, staff was nowhere to be found for dessert order or any further service from 2.15pm. Overall wasn’t satisfactory. On the positive side when booking a reservation ahead of time the phone service was good and follow up call to confirm reservation was a good experience but that is not to excuse the lack of effort come end of day.

Great coffee, fantastic smoothies and biggest dilemma was choosing what to eat .. everything we have eaten there was delicious . Loved sitting outside watching the day go by. Clearly very popular as the place was buzzing whatever time we visited during out holiday last year. So reasonably priced for the quality of food.

We just had three of the best meals we've had for a long time. Massaman curry special was delicious, one of my fellow diners had the pork buns and her only complaints MORE although it was a dish on the share menu and my other diner had the Porky Papaya salad which he raved about. Well worth a visit. Great ambience with understated decor. Good service, good food.
