I had a scheduled appointment and arrived on time. After waiting for 40 minutes with no updates, I approached the receptionist, only to be told that the doctor would be late. It was disappointing that I wasn’t informed earlier, especially since I had an appointment. Clear and timely communication would have been appreciated, as patients also plan their time around these visits. 😡😡😡

Dr Han doesn’t care about your welfare, only about money. I went in two weeks ago and we discussed switching medication and that I would need to taper off the one I was on first which I did over the course of the last 2 weeks. He said to come back and see him in 2 weeks which I then did. When I came back in to see him (as he instructed) he said I had to wait for a different doctor to come back from holiday (He basically said he doesn’t deal with these things so I would have to wait for the other doctor). So why tell me to come back and see him in 2 weeks? I got nothing out of my appointment and yet he got a nice $78 payment for 2 minutes of his time and absolutely zero effort.

Upon finishing the useless appointment with Dr Han I came to the receptionist to pay but found my phone was flat and I couldn’t pay. I told him that I needed to come back in a week to see the other doctor and could pay then or go home and charge my phone and come back. He basically laughed when I asked if I could pay the fee in a weeks time and said I would have to come back later that night and pay. I accepted this as it was my own fault that my phone wasn’t charged. I quickly drove home and grabbed my charger and drove back. This took less than 10 minutes. As I was parking in the Medical centres car park I received a call from the receptionist saying I still had a payment to make and needed to make it now. I was gone for less than 10 minutes and was coming back (which we had just discussed). Rather bizarre I thought.

I’ve been going to Daw Park Medical centre for the last couple of years and have never been overly impressed by their services and consistently long wait times but this evenings incompetence, lack of care and rudeness was the last straw for me. I won’t be going back and will be asking them to send any relevant documentation to a new GP.

Dr Essam Khalil has been my doctor for quite a few years. He is always pretty straightforward tells you how it is. I went to see him due to having a bad infection in my hand and he said if it gets any worse go straight to hospital. Lucky I took his advice as the plastics team put me in hospital to do a pretty big operation to clean up the infection and they said if I had left it for a week it could have got to the stage where I may have lost my hand because of how bad the infection was. Highly recommended Dr Essam Khalil.

Me and my bf came to this doctor to get a referral for a X-ray, the docter said no x - ray he just needed to rest and take some Panadol, then later we find out, it’s extreme tissue damage and can’t train for weeks, my bf had a fight coming up for boxing, lucky he pulled out just be safe, otherwise he would’ve had a fight with bad tissue damage because the doctor said it was nothing, the doctor was also checking the wrong part of his hand, my bf said no it hurts here multiple times but the doctor did not listen! The doctor only looked it at for 1 minute and did 1 test, I am very disappointed in this service, I am paying you to do a job, so do your job!

Very disappointing experience. This clinic clearly prioritizes profit over patient care. They made a mistake, yet expected me to cover the cost, while refusing to acknowledge any fault on their part. When I questioned it, I was told that even if I complained to higher authorities, “it wouldn’t make a difference.” That kind of dismissive and arrogant attitude is completely unacceptable in healthcare. Patients should not be penalized for the clinic’s errors. I strongly urge others to be cautious when dealing with this practice.

Had a mental health crisis and had a doctor book an appointment on behalf of me asking for a mental health plan for me. I walk in and I tell her what the appointment is. And she’s confused. She gets me to fill out a tiny form about my feelings. Prints off a letter. And says that’s the whole appointment. Less than 5 minutes long. A mental health appointment is meant to be 20 minutes long. Your meant to actually speak to your client. It’s obvious you don’t care about your clients or mental health. I won’t be coming back ever

very poor experience when trying to book my kids in for flu vaccine. The receptionist blamed me not to call but booked online as the vaccine is only available for private patients not for children. Why don’t they make it clear on the website by stating the new flu vaccine is available Tried very hard to make it by being treating with blame?
