She is nothing but a professional scammer. We traded services for her estate planning. She got what she wanted from me but I've never received anything from her except lies, avoidance, and when I asked to actually get paid in cash after 2 years, her excuse was "I am working on it". The only thing I see her working on is multiple trips to Hawai'i (a known fact) every year and avoiding my requests. She is a disgrace to the legal profession!!
**KC - when Lara pays me the $917 that she owes me, I will be satisfied and will remove this review. I have no further need of her services. It has been 3 years - we all have "things" that happen in our lives but those "things" should not be an excuse for not paying a debt.

The Road Less Traveled

No longer answers her phone or emails. Visits to her office results in a locked door during business hours.

Update: The trust that Lara created to keep us out of probate ultimately resulted in probate. She listed items in the wrong section, something we paid her to help us avoid. Our unanswered attempts to contact her in the months prior to our death in the family has now cost us time and money. The same time and money she promised to help us avoid. Take my advice, get a real estate attorney.

***KC, that's pretty noble of you but, after months of trying to contact her before my father's death, I'm not interested. Something as simple as making a change to her voicemail message might have been a good idea to keep her clients updated but, it appears she may have been too busy in Hawaii. After months of desperately trying to contact her, it's too late for my family and I. She cost us tens of thousands of dollars and I have no interest in spending another minute on her or her business. In fact, SHE should be contacting her clients.

13 years ago I needed a divorce. This review is just to state how absolutely PERFECT everything was written that long ago. My daughter is now 16 and I have never needed a modification. BY FAR THE BEST DECISION I ever made was coming here. Know what you want, and they will write it for you EXACTLY the way you ask. I would give 10 stars if I could. Don't waste your $ on attorney fees, find an agreement between parties & go here to have the docs written. A++++++

I have been using A-1 Document service for 9 years. The staff is kind and helpful. The owners are generous and very compassionate. When I have questions I receive immediate accurate information. Called her about putting my son on the title from my house. She texted me what her fees were and I responded that the fees were fine,I just wanted to get this going as soon as possible. Well, it’s been more than two weeks and I have called her multiple times leaving messages, even stop by her office but the door was closed. I have finally given up and I am looking for another Paralegal.
