We hired 2 x cars while in Launceston for a softball tournament. Sam was so awesome to communicate, incredibly friendly and super helpful.

The cars were older but still in great condition for their ages, had air-conditioning and were great to drive. Zero issues with the cars and process, were great value for money and would absolutely recommend ABC car hire.

I recommend ABC Car rental- good range of vehicles, very reasonably priced and excellent service from Sam and the team.
It was simple to pick up and return our 7 seater vehicle from Launceston Airport - A smooth process from start to finish.

My family hired a people mover for a week. Sam assisted me to have airport pickup and drop service. The Toyota Tarago car has a decent size for a big family with 8 people with several big luggages. Nothing wrong with the car. It's easy to drive and park. During the trip, I accidentally bent the car key. With Sam's remote assistance, I successfully finished the remaining trips without any delay or inconvenience.
My family really appreciate ABC Car Hire and Sam's help. I rate them a 5-star car hire service in Tasmania.

around Tassie in a decent price (the big companies wanted double!!) and an OUTSTANDING customer service! Sam even lended me some camping equipment for my trip around the island and is super helpful with tips.

Booked for 1 week holiday around Launceston and hobart. Rental car is old but clean, did the job well and for cheap price. I was able to book 2 weeks in advance of trip easily. Sam is very personable , and gave me a lift to airport when i was running late for flight. Thank u. Would book again.

Great service! Sam is an absolute lifesaver - when I ran into an admin issue with my bank card, ABC was the only place flexible enough to rent me a car, saved my entire trip as I'd already booked multiple Airbnbs which I absolutely needed a car for. Camry was a bit dated by modern standards but worked completely seamlessly, drove to multiple places including Cradle Mountain and back, no issues. Rate was also competitively priced.

Affordable and comfortable. Easy shuttle bus service to & from Launceston airport, our hired car was old (80's Toyota) but very comfortable with plenty of boot space. Car had new tires and working A/C so it was a smooth ride up Cradle mountain. Would hire from here again on our next trip to Tassie.

Great value car hire for 11 days, was $800 cheaper than the competitors in Launceston or Hobart. Received a sedan car 2004 Toyota Camry, so no Bluetooth or sat nav but I brought a car vent phone holder along. Just wanted a reliable car so happy to pay the price offered by Sam. There was a 100% Best of 2005 hits CD that was left in the stereo which was almost as good as Spotify
