Pathetic agents and services. They would suck every penny out of you.
I moved out the property early, organized pre-exit inspection and returned the key on the same day. Everything went well at the pre-exit inspection, then turned around saying the house is dirty and required professional cleaning. We returned the house in the same condition, if not in a better condition then we moved in. These are all shown in the entry and exit report photos. They failed to provide further photos/evidence to show the areas that are dirty. They just called the cleaning service and lawn service without my permission and expected me to pay for it. Nothing was resolved after extensive communication through email, so I asked them to take it further. I’ve told RTA what happened and they recorded the case as non-resolved so the agent could go to QCAT if they wish, then the bond after returned within a week. They caused delayed in bond return and waste of time for nothing, just so they can have a chance to get stuff paid for to cover their mistakes.

Active Agents, AA, operate a best practice business model. Their recruitment and retention process is robust and extensive with competency assessments and great staff engagement and retention. AA were instrumental in identifying a water leak in one of our investment properties that would have led to a very significant incident if it wasn’t attended to. Rick, Tara’s contractor did an excellent job in rectifying this issue. AA provides a great balance in being fair to both tenants and landlords.
