I spoke with Kaylyn and Justine at August & Claire Lawyers regarding an issue I had with my mums will. From the very first contact I knew I had made the right decision to have them represent me. Stated can do no pay no win and took on the case. 4 weeks of silence later, as my deadline closes in, they demand $10,000 upfront for them to continue.
Without mentioning too much detail, the work involved was infinitesimal and already locked to win but family robbing me at 2.5% of my fathers will.
I put it down to a skill issue on their end.. Unsure if I now have enough time to get another lawyer before the dead line, don't waste your precious time with them.

We used Justine Aubin for advice on potentially disputing a Will . She wrote an incisive analysis of the claim and cited the various cases. At each step in her advice, a likey cost range and possible other side costs liability was clearly enunciated, in addition to probability of success. it is exactly what we needded to have set out. We had previously used a specilaist firm in Liverpool for initial consultation, and then my Syndey CBD commercial lawyer.One should always use a specialist straight away, and Justine was the most inteligent person I had met in all my legal travels of many decades, interacting with Sydney CBD lawyers.

My case was quite complex and complicated and not as straightforward as there was no evidence of my biological father apart from a Geaneologist report and Ancestry DNA and my own strong belief , that he was my father . So I needed a lot of guidance and expertise of my solicitor Tenille , she explained very clearly and made it understandable as a lay person my particular situation , and was kind and caring , as at times I was stressed and frustrated , but was able to continue on the path I felt I had to do and with support and compassion from Justine and Tenille .
