As many other reviews have said, postal workers do not even attempt to deliver parcels and you get told to collect from the post office.

There are always massive lines and as I work I only have certain windows of times where I will be available to collect something from the post office and if the lines are too long it can make it impossible.

You think the staff would want to encourage the postal workers to make deliveries so they don't have long lines of angry customers.

Parcels rarely actually get delivered, even if I'm home to accept it. Then it says it's been taken to the Annandale post office. I get there and they barely look for it and tell me it's not there. I tell them I just got the notification it had been dropped off there so it has to be there.

They clearly have issues with delivery drivers not doing their job which creates more work for the staff that they don't want to do to organise it efficiently. Then instead of finding parcels they just try and get customers to leave without the items they paid for/paid for home delivery for/gone out of their way for.

It's a nightmare every time. I've never seen a post office so disorganised.

Every single parcel is “attempted to be delivered, but no one was home” when I have been home every time I was expecting a parcel. Not to mention the time they flat out lost a parcel. When I get there to collect the parcel, it takes 30 minutes or more, only to be met with animosity at the counter even if I’m super polite and smiley. Things happen, I get it. I will never be rude, it’s worthy of returning the smile. Also, the post office needs serious pest control. Huge cockroaches in store every time.

Left work early to collect a package that should have been left at my house - but, as usual, delivery directions were not followed…

Arrived at the post office at 5:01 and the doer opened. I was abruptly told “we’re closed” by someone who didn’t care to look up…

I can’t leave work early for the next fortnight due to requirements, so given the driver and the post office don’t want to do their job, my child will not be getting their gift

I dread getting a notice that my parcel has been brought to the Annadale Post Shop. The time it sometimes takes to pick up a parcel here is absurd. I've waited 45 minutes in lines that go down the block. When I finally get to the counter I see why. Nobody has any hussle or care about speed or efficiency. Sometimes there just isn't anyone at the counter with a long line of people waiting. I've literally let parcels get returned instead of going here to pick them up because I don't have the time to deal with this broken post office. Please for the love of God fix this post office! If it's running over capacity then revamp it's design or something. Make a dedicated parcel pickup line so you don't need to wait behind an old lady talking about stamps. Or have someone sorting out the lineup based on transaction times. If I'm only there for something that could take 2 minutes, don't make me wait behind someone who's renewing a passport. There are several things you could do to make this place better.

The staff at this post office would have to be the rudest I have ever come across. No customer service whatsoever. They never smile, never say hello, and look at you with disdain.

The Asian older guy is so rude, no customer service at all, avoid this post office if you can. I should’ve checked Google reviews before I directed my parcel for collection here. Honestly don’t know how unhappy this person must be to be this rude towards people. Also the Asian lady is no better - after reading the reviews it seems that this post office staff are racially discriminating against non white customers - despite being non white themselves.
