Reading reviews good and bad, both sum up my many experiences here. Most issues are due to a total absence of efficiency.

Most of the time you are in a slow moving queue as one counter has someone needing passport photo's , one counter has someone asking endless questions or having a chat with total disregard for the people that just want a stamp or post pack. And the other counter has someone spending a stupid amount of time trying to find a package.

The problems here could be easily fixed by having a better system for locating parcels. One dedicated person to handle passports, licenses of all kinds and International post.

One person for parcel locating and leave two counters just for purchases and drop off's.

I always find the staff helpful and polite, thr problem is not the staff but rather how they are utilised.

They told me the order had been picked up. When I asked, "By who?" she said she didn't know. Then she blamed the delivery person as she said she couldn't understand the writing.
After more persistence from my end, as it was an expensive parcel (1000 dollars), she finally found it and said there were "too many Singhs" as if that was an excuse for not checking correctly and providing wrong information.

Rather than blaming other people, be more thorough yourself.
Overall rude and unprofessional service.

Worst part of missing a package is having to deal with the Byford LPO. Always rude service by the manager Kathy, who treats you like your supposed to know the fine details of the postal system and blames everything on the delivery staff. Held off writing this review for a few visits hoping it would get better but it's worse if anything. Wonder if it would prosper under different management as the very few positive experiences I've had there are always when Kathy isn't around

Would be very convenient if all staff could have the same knowledge on who could collect the parcel.
My last parcel was sent to Byford AUPost, somehow, instead of the Armadale one (which the address I had on the parcel) and the lady staff at Byford AUPost didnt let my boyfriend to pick up even though we had the same address (02/05/24).
She (the staff) demanded him to have an authorization letter in order to pick up the parcel which never happened before with other AUPost.

Worst customer service ever. Kathy should be sacked. Great place to go to yaffle about other people's holiday adventures. Taking all my business to Armadle or Yancep PO now.

I just want to give a big thumbs up to the whole team. The last few times I went in was around their peak hours so they were very busy and still smiling through the stress and some bad customers who either didn't do the right thing and were helped through it or were intentionally difficult customers and were treated professionally. I know when I worked in retail how stressful it was and you guys are doing a great job. A big thank you for maintaining such a pleasant and helpful atmosphere.

Oh my gosh! Every single time I visited the Byford post office the staff is so awesome, friendly and helpful.
Take this afternoon for example, the young lovely beautiful lady who assisted me was awesome. She is friendly, funny, very helpful and professional. I felt like I was having fun with a good friend.
In addition, all the other staff members joined in on our banter. Thank you, thank you all.
