Really bad service from the people that work at Australia Post, Caroline Springs Square. I came in to pick up a parcel and the lady that served me behind the counter asked me a number of times if I have provided her my correct name that I gave her that matches my driver’s license name and last name, which I replied many times that is my correct details. Then the lady told someone to go and look for my parcel which took them ten minutes to eventually tell me they couldn’t locate the parcel in the back and they told me to come back when they give me a call and locate the missing parcel, which I gave them my phone number to call me on. As I left the Australia Post Office, Caroline Springs Square, I received a call from them that they found the parcel and that if I was close to come back to Australia Post and pick it it up, which I said I wasn’t because by then I was stuck in traffic and on the freeway, which then meant I couldn’t pick up my parcel on the weekend because it was close to closing time and I had to waste my time and go back in on Monday to pick up my parcel. This service by Australia Post, Caroline Springs Square has been happening like this since they opened in the early 2000’s.

I arrived at the Caroline Springs Post Office on time and waited in line for over 15 minutes, only to be told they don’t take passport applications or photos after 12pm on Saturdays. Nowhere was this information clearly displayed—neither online nor at the premises.

To make matters worse, the staff were incredibly rude and dismissive, showing zero concern for the inconvenience they caused. Their attitude was appalling and completely unprofessional.

This level of service is unacceptable. The rules should be clearly communicated, and staff should treat people with basic respect. Something needs to change.

Only getting two stars because one staff member is a nice man.

Otherwise rude, lazy, incompetent and dishonest.

Made my pregnant friend waited with me for 30mins in a que only to be told ber request would take to long as they close in an hour. Could not care less how heavily pregnant, tired and unwell she felt. Very cruel indeed.

We come back another day and the request was completed in 11 minutes meaning it could have been fulfilled on the first visit but the rude lady and man who served her the first time just could not be bothered so they lied and said it would take too long.
The man who fulfilled the request when we returned was so nice that he is the only reason they get a second star.

Otherwise poorest customer service of any post office I have ever visited.

Staff have always been nice to me but the wait times are ridiculous especially if you work full time. It’s near impossible to pick up a parcel without having to wait an hour in line. I wish there was an option to redirect parcels away from this post office! I’d rather drive further out

Despite having plenty of safe places to leave the parcel and it has been authorised to leave in a safe place, this gentleman for some unknown reasons, has decided that it’s unsafe to leave a 20 AUD value parcel at my front door and took it to this LPO instead. And they tell me that I can only be able to collect it after 3pm the next day ! Not a smart way to work mate !

Money hungry staff. Will try to upgrade at every possible opportunity. Refused my perfectly taken pics. And eventually took pic again and charged again. Passport renewal could be simpler.

Please pay wages and put more staff on. I can’t help that post deliveries are directed here when I am not home. I would never attend this office due to the half an hour or more wait times to get my packages. Horrific services in the year 2025. Not acceptable.

My front door was open all day.. there was no attempt at a delivery and I know this because other items from other businesses that don’t use Australia post were delivered and they were courteous enough to ring my door bell
