Had a lovely lady who assisted me to receive my package that was supposed to be delivered to my apartment. I don't know why the postman said they attempted to deliver the package to the apartment when I was home the whole day waiting for the package yet didn't get a single sound from my doorbell so package needed to be redirected to the post office.

So the staff at the post office are kind and friendly but there’s real problems with getting parcels.

The local posties do not do basic things like ringing or knocking when they deliver parcels - they always leave notes and claim folks weren’t home.

This is of course not a problem when someone’s at work etc - but it happens every time and the post office itself often has huge queues to go in and collect parcels. The post office is only opened 9 - 5 but my job involves hours that go well beyond that often - and nipping out to Dickson post office for my lunch break isn’t practical.

For people with day jobs this means it takes up a huge amount of time to retrieve a basic package - and when that’s happening all the time that’s often meant my packages get returned because I’m away for work or just can’t make it into the post office to collect the parcel within the five days.

I’ve raised this multiple times with the staff and been told I’m wrong. It just shows a really basic lack of respect and professionalism.

It means I now usually get parcels delivered to my parent’s house.

Legit AI can run this place better, surely the humans that very logically made opening hours from 9-5 on weekdays MUST have considered a lot of people work a 9-5 job. so after they finish their work and want to collect a parcel that was ā€œundelivered due to no attendanceā€ (wow what a surprise we all work DAYTIME) there is legit zero options. Maybe theres nobudget to open weekends, but if thats the case just shut the shop. None of the staff seem like they genuinely enjoy the job and is only there to get paid. And people line up across dickson just to collect a parcel. Why open a post shop and have your postal services offer sellers to force signatures if we cant even collect our stuff after normal working hours

3 people in line and one female staff member chatting endlessly with her friend about an operation. Unprofessional. Would rate 1 star except for the staff who would eventually serve us, they were good.

None of the employees seemed to have any training except for one Chinese employee who really knew what to do. I didn't receive a parcel I sent last month, and two employees told me there was no way to find the tracking number for me, and the problem was finally solved after I keep asking them to search the payment of the day and time I sent the parcel, the tracking number was RIGHT there.
No one cares how to help you, they don't even think.

Completely incompetent service. Submitted my son's passport application. All checks were done. Receive a call hours later to bring my son in to get passport photo redone. Arrive, wait in ridiculous queue only to be told that the passport application has already been sent off and I'll just have to wait and see if it is rejected. All of this after I paid for it to be expedited. Use another post office if you can or have your holiday ruined by incompetence of colossal proportions

Very disappointed in this post office's opening hours. It's not easy to get time off of work to pick up a parcel that should have gone into your parcel locker. And when I do have to, my colleagues and I agree on how absolutely ridiculous it is for a post office to be open from 9-5 on weekdays only.

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff here. The service I receive is absolutely top notch! Twice, staff have gone out of their way to help me with temperature sensitive parcel deliveries, even so far as putting one in the fridge for me, as well as calling me. Thank you AP Dickson staff - I notice your efforts and they are truly appreciated.
