This is a post office located in the Dingley Village Shopping precinct.
It has good parking at the rear and there are public toilets available as well as disabled parking spots out front.
It has all the products supplied by Australia Post on hand and accepts Overnight Express and International registered post items.
I has secure post office boxes.
This is a privately owned franchise, the owners go out of they're way to help but some of the hired staff can let ques run out of the door and they will not become ill from over work.

Customer service lady was rude. held my mail over a month after putting a note in the mail box. Mail box was empty last 4 weeks, didn't bother to put back int the box. I was expecting an important letter in the po box, was late over 6 weeks due to the laziness of the person to put the mail back.
I had to take time off to visit the Post Office during working hours.

If you’re in a hurry, definitely avoid this post office. Even with a line of one or two customers, everything takes an age. Time loses all context once you enter this place.

why cant opening and closing times be consistently advertised
Dingley PO openly advertised as closing at 5:30pm in some areas 5:00pm in others see image example of 5:30pm closing - reality seems to be 5:00pm - very disappointing.

Customer service at this office is a shame, the office staff have zero respect and the attitude they express really just damages Australia posts reputation even more. I understand that they can't control when mail comes in, and there is delays but I wouldn't be as annoyed about it if the staff wasn't as rude as they are currently. Hope change happens sooner rather than later.

Terrible Service. On one occasion there were 2 staff members. Both attending to customers. A customer left and instead of serving me next (as I was the only other customer in the store), I was ignored for another 3 solid minutes until the female staff member decided she felt like serving me. No "I'll be with you in a minute",..."sorry to keep you waiting", eye contact or recognition I was standing there. I was air. No apologies, no smile, no manners, terrible service. On another occasion, my address and phone number was yelled out twice by a male staff member when I went to collect a parcel. No respect for privacy. He took forever to find the parcel even though I gave him clear instructions to assist him on what he would be looking for. He took no notice of me, wasted my time and told me in an annoyed tone what should have been written on the postal collection card even though it had nothing to do with me as the postman had written it. He told me I should tell the postman. The thing is i didn't see the postman that's why I had to collect it from the store. I don't know what he/she looks like. It's Australia's Post Dingley's responsibility to follow up on, if one of their workers needs to be followed up with. They need to get their priorities right and provide a friendly, courteous, respectful and professional customer service.

Some of the staff need to be disciplined or replaced. Rude, impatient and providing conflicting and plainly incorrect advice. I guess it doesn't make a huge difference if you need somethinhg simple like picking up a parcel but if it is something more complex (like applying for passport), look elsewhere or don't let them treat you like garbage.
