Who says corruption doesn't exist. Classic example of how people in a position of authority use it to advantage themselves.
Went here for a passport renewal with passport photos from somewhere else.

2 different people at the store made excuses as to why the photo wasn't compliant and made me take a new photo. When pressed to show the difference between the two photos, the lady made up some senseless excuse, as the formal template they are given showed everything within the guidelines.

AusPost should strip them of their franchise.

When asked to certify documents they refused and told me to go to a JP - 'there's usually one at the library'. Another nearby post office certified the documents no problem.

If possible, I may give their service 0 stars, today I took my son to take a passport photo, but it was refused, the staff said she can not take pictures for children, so go found another place for take the photos, is this a service should have? Is the staff can’t do anything please ask her to go home and stop doing her job, Why should the post office pay these incompetent people to work in the post office. This is ridiculous. Totally unacceptable.

I just can give 1 star....not any more. We went there to submit our passport applications. The first question of them was always where you took the photos? After we told them that we took the photos by ourself, they told us the photo are not satisfied, the passport office must rejected our applications. We updated the photos based on the requirements on the Australia passport office website, but the post office insisted on that our photos were not satisfied. We went there for three times! And then we brought the same photos to the Hornsby Post office, they accepted and finally we got our passports after 1 week.

I have been a regular user of the Gordon Post Office services for decades.The current Manager and staff are amongst the best I have ever seen working there. The Manager is extremely efficient, quick, decisive and displays amazing dexterity and initiative. Arnop has been there for many years and has equal supply of these skills.
A conscientious trio and I would go out of my way to be served by them. My only regret in making these positive comments is that they may be promoted to bigger offices away from Gordon !

Posted an incredibly sentimental parcel on Monday express to Melbourne. The parcel hasn’t even left Gordon. I don’t imagine that they have lodged it at all. Starting to get very very nervous about its whereabouts because it’s a homemade gift with about $500 of materials and 600 hours of work.
