I am a local and have lived in the area for more than 20 years. These people are pigs! I wanted a parcel to be delivered to a former employer in Hawthorn today and that the company in Hawthorn would pay and what alternatives do I have. They said I had to make payment. They said no to any of my suggestions! I said they could ring the contact on the parcel to receive payment. They were nasty and condescending and said no! I left the parcel there as it was not my property and they yelled at me and said they were going to throw it in the bin! I will never set foot or do business with them again! They need to sell and get out of Mt Evelyn! Not welcome I say! Very poor customer service!

This place is the best ever since it got new people at the desk. The lady is fantastic - so fast and efficient, you'd think there was a queue a mile long and she was worried she wouldn't get through it all, even though it was just me.

The last two ladies were abysmal in comparison, just walking a metre was a struggle for them.

I wish these new people all the best and hope they stick at it for a long time, because I'm not moving suburbs any time soon.

I have been dealing with this Post Office for over 20 years and have found them extremely helpful, polite, friendly and the customer service is awesome. I have never had a problem with opened or tampered parcels, never had a parcel damaged by them either. I would rate them 100% for service, care and commitment and friendliness.

Rude and arrogant. Literally just slammed the door in my face at 5:00pm on the dot. My work hours don't allow me to get there any earlier. Now I have to wait 2 weeks to pick up a parcel.

Service is no better or worse than can be expected from a small post office. Level of staff assistance and friendliness is generally pretty good, although it can depend on who serves you and their mood at the time. The current operators are definitely better then some of the previous ones I've encountered in the 36 years I've lived in Mount Evelyn.
