Came in at 4:40pm to get a newborn passport processed. We were told witness signatures were missing and the lady decided to do an ID crosscheck on the application. I told her we'd be back quick with the signatures. Came back before close and a second lady told us we were too late, with "6 minutes" to close. Informing us that it takes "20 minutes" to process a child passport. The first lady did not mention it being too late, nor tell us to come back on a Monday. Since lady no.2 said passports don't get processed on Saturdays?
If you're not willing to work in the last 6 minutes, don't stand at the counter.

I had a disappointing experience at the Rockingham Post Shop. The store manager, a lady, was unprofessional and didn’t handle her responsibilities as expected for a post office manager. Additionally, one of the male staff members was incredibly rude during service and communication, making the experience unpleasant.

Grumpy and not very helpful or supportive!

Edit* just updating my review here, I revisited a second time and the same teller with short hair was serving another patron. He was a very polite person but again, the staff member had a really sour way of relaying information. She was short, dismissive and gave no helpful nor courteous advice. Her tone and demeanour was callous and uninformative. I really didn't understand why she had to be like this, this is her job and she should be redirecting people helpfully to how they can get the service they need.

The most disgusting staff work at this store. Walked in today and didn’t even check the time as we just saw something that caught our eye. No one spoke to us so we just had a quick browse of the store. I heard one staff member say “yeah 30 seconds” and I thought surely they don’t mean the time. I looked at my watch and was shocked as I didn’t realise it was 4:59. As I approached my mum who I was browsing with I heard “20 seconds”. Again thought that’s not nice counting down loud enough we can hear but chose to ignore it. As I’ve gone to say let’s go I hear “5,4,3,2,1 alright out you go, close the doors”. I was disgusted. One you could have said nicely when we walked in “oh just so you know we close in 1 minute” and we would have said oh sorry and left as both having been in retail know the workers deserve to get out on time. But to be counted down and said okay out you go. I’ll be putting in a complaint to the company as I’ve heard this store has horrible workers and now I’ve witnessed it first hand.

Go up
