I strongly suspect this branch of parcel tampering and theft. A recent delivery made in June was managed by Startrack (owned by AusPost though blissfully ignorant of their policies and procedures) but handled by AusPost had 2 out of the 3 items were missing. These were medical supplies. Despite the packaging being an easy and obvious target, these are still medical supplies that are being stolen. All clues point to a staff member at this branch or their sorting and delivery staff who helped themselves. It could not have traveled if it was not repaired locally and the sticker indeed belongs to AusPost. Yet you lodge a Complaint online and their staff rattle off protocol endlessly, trying to palm this off to Startrack (who will no doubt try to palm this back to AusPost) in their endless strategy to tire out the victim. Beyond disgusted. A report has been lodged with the ACCC with the shoddy lack of oversight

Not happy , sent parcel 24.4.23 partner has not received it .. got tracking number went to post office ,said someone else picked it up .. said his house mate signed for it, he did not , it didn'thave his name on it why would he pick it up .. aren't they supposed to check id , this is a $50 plus parcel .. person at counter said nothing can be done ..not good enough... 😡😡😡😡

To all the people that complain about South Hedland post office service. Get a life. I have been a customer for over 20 yrs and have never had bad service or rudeness. The staff do their utmost to help in every way possible. You whingers are just never happy. Grow up, put yourself in their place and see how you go with the rude and very unpleasant customers. Try be kind.

Customer Service is moderate! There are two nice workers there and the rest are just plain rude & snotty. Not to mention my mail has been delivered to the wrong address not ONCE but FIVE times now (thank goodness honest people have taken the time out of their lives to drop of my mail). Hopefully, they ‘up’ their customer service 🙂

Extremely poor customer service. Staff don't even know what customer service means I believe. Worst I have seen in Australia. Aus post dealing in driving licenses and they are clearly uneducated about the procedure. Don't even know what electronic visas are. Such a shame for a good town

The Post Office in South has some very good & knowledgeable staff, they house the Dept of transport and are as helpful as anyone around. I always find them friendly and willing to get the best solution.
