I had a really pleasant experience with all the staff I saw regarding passport photos and applications. The first time I went in to get photos taken for the passports, a young male served us, he was amazing, he took our photos and double checked with management they were all ok, he chatted to us while the photos were printing. He also moved us to his manager as I also had a tax file number form to put in and we also lodged my husband's renewal passport.

I also asked about making an appointment for passport applications and was told we don't need to make one, just turn up and it'll get done. I went back 2 days later with 3 applications and the lady that served me was amazing! She noticed on one of the applications that I forgot to get my husband to sign one part, I said I could call him to come straight away and I would be happy to line back up, she said no need, I'll process everything and serve other customers and when he gets here just stand next to my counter and I'll get him to sign quickly.

We had a very easy experience with the whole thing which I'm so grateful for as I was feeling very stressed about the whole thing.

AVOID THIS AUSPOST FOR PASSPORT APPLICATION!!!

This is our second time applying for a passport at this branch, and once again, the experience was disappointing. They always seem to find reasons to reject photos, forcing customers to pay again, just as other reviews have mentioned.

During our first application for our first child, they rejected the photos we had taken at another AusPost and refused to retake them free of charge, so we were forced to pay twice. To prevent the same problem from happening again, we decided to take the photos ourselves for our second child, following the advice of a family member who successfully used DIY photos and is now traveling with his passport. However, this branch still rejected our photos, even though they were of better quality and met the required standards.

When I questioned the inconsistency, the customer service experience was awful, especially with a staff member named Debbie. She was rude, impatient, and unwilling to explain the issue properly. Instead of addressing our concerns professionally, she continued arguing with us loudly despite being stopped by her manager, Chetali when we complained about her poor attitude, and declined to proceed with our application. Thankfully, Chetali took over, and while she was less hostile, and handled the situation better, the overall experience remained frustrating.

This will be our last time applying for a passport at this branch. I highly recommend avoiding it if you want a more pleasant process!

Got my passport photo taken here. The photo looks absolutely horrific. Even the passport office didn’t accept the photo. It was dark and shadowy, and looked nothing like me. Also when taking the photo I was positioned in front of everyone waiting in line, which made it super uncomfortable.
Wish I could get a refund šŸ™

I am very very Happy with the staff in this post office, yes sometimes there is long queue's that is not the staff's fault, it all depends on what time you go, if you don't work don't go at lunch times or late afternoon's.
I have always found all the Staff very helpful and pleasant, and obliging if you are pleasant to them?
But some people are Rude, nasty people ,
You get back what you give in this life?

My favourite post office around town. This is because they have a great system of separating the shipping business and the parcel collection. Since they were rather busy today, I didn’t have time to capture the collecting area which was the place I went there from the first place.
The staffs are very nice and accommodating. There was a time, I went there after running errands whole day and my brain was protesting to multitask; therefore, I went to the post office forgetting my personal ID. I searched everything in my car and found my approved manager ; however, they cannot accept that as it has expired a few years ago and there was no address on it. The staff sensed that I had a long day and did her best, in the fashion that still abided by the rules/ law, asked for some utility bills or any letter that shows my name and the address. I finally found one and felt so relieved that my running-errand day can be completed on that day so I can do some other important tasks for the rest of the week.
Today I went there to pick up my parcel having my driving license ready for them to check. Within , literally, less than a minute, a lady came back with my stuff. This reflects how hard they work to get those countless parcel organized and ready to hand out.
Thank you very much for your efforts and contribution to the society 😊

After queuing half an hour we found out passport section is one different line. No sign or mark. Us and other people had to move back to another line and wait some more. Maybe a sign would be a great idea to avoid wasting our and the staffs time

Second time I’ve tried to post something on a Saturday here and had to abandon it till Monday. Ok so you have 3 staff on, it’s clearly not enough and you need more. A business cannot operate in the willingness of the customer to stand there for an hour waiting to be served.
Make Saturdays a ā€œNo bills or banks boomersā€ day. It’s ALWAYS the oldies that clog up the line insisting on paying bills and doing other things that they could just do on an ap.
This just is not good enough. Look at the reviews.. where is your quality department? Why have they not audited the reviews for improvement opportunities?
Cos AUSTRALIA POST DOESNT CARE THATS WHY.
In addition yeah the accessibility is a major issue, parking is a hassle at Gateway. You’ll end up walking from one side of the centre to the other to then go home cos it’s better to just go elsewhere on Monday.
NO BILLS, NO BANKING BOOMERS…

This is feedback perhaps for all of Aus Post rather than this specific LPO but please just deliver the parcel?
My delivery went to this post office and I now have to take two buses to pick up my delivery. If I had a car to get to the shops it’s unlikely I would buy online but I do this specifically to get DELIVERY.
Like most people I work business hours so when I got there this evening at 5.03pm I was told they were shut. Fair enough but hey why not just DELIVERY THE PARCEL so I don’t have to interact with you at all?
I literally can’t pick up the parcel now before Christmas.
