I went to go ship off a package that I had already prepaid the delivery cost, go in and they say, you put the incorrect size option. Go to engadine and had no problems with the size. Sutherland post is just money hungry

Australia Post delivered the package to the sender. I posted it on Monday and they delivered it back to me on Friday! The staff at Sutherland had no empathy and refused to offer express post so it could get to the destination quicker after they had already wasted a full week. I requested a refund (which will take 13 days to process).

Don't bother going to collect on Saturday Tim if his real name does not want to anything but sit on his computer ask to collect a parcel said tracking number please told him there is none told me always is which is not the case as had the same issue with him before checks computer for name oh not in system won't get up to look out back I come back the Monday found in 2 mins by other staff members he is just lazy and does not want to do his job properly

Idle, indolent staff who obviously hate their own lives and are determined to make others feel the same. Just rude, nasty and petty people. When I went in, one staff member wouldn't help me because she "I'm about to go on a break" then the next one wouldn't either because "my break is in 20 minutes". Unbelievable.

Edit: I've added a star because I was forced by circumstances beyond my control to return to this happiness vacuum. I have to say that manager Lisa was nice to deal with and generally friendly. If only all staff were the same...

This is a post office I hardly ever use and will never use again.
I was attended by a female staff member and was treated in the most rude, unhelpful, abusive, aggressive manner ever and for no reason. She bullied me and refused to give me the information I needed to understand why she refused to accept and post my mail. As it happened one of her fellow staff members gave me the explanation I needed.
However, at another post office, on the same day, my mail was accepted and sent overseas with no problem st all. It was the original Sutherland staff members mistake or pure viciousness on her part that prevented me from posting my mail.
I suggest management dismiss this person from their staff. She was hostile and aggressive towards other customers too.

Poor and slow service . The providers here are out of date with current practices. Will not recommend people to come here.

Great customer service.
I don’t understand why people complain.
Interesting about what Ben C stated, about getting turned away for a passport application.
He forgot to mention it was on a Saturday and also a child application.
I was in the store at the time. Both staff members were nothing but professional.
The girls did explain that passports do take time, and on Saturday’s they have skeleton staff, and passports on Saturday’s are via appointment only.
The staff at Sutherland are doing a wonderful job, so happy the store is reopen on Saturdays.

Not sure if the problem is with this particular post office or with Australia Post as a whole. I made a purchase and asked the parcel to be delivered to the post box in Sutherland. Several days later I received a confirmation from Australia Post that they got the parcel and will deliver it shortly. Several days later the tracking system told me that the parcel got stuck somewhere on its way and the delivery is delayed. I made an online query about this parcel on their webpage and received an automated response that they will only start investigating after 10 days from the supposed delivery date. Ten days later they wrote to me that in fact the item was delivered, lied for 10 days in the Sutherland post office and was sent back due to non collection. The response was composed in a way as if it was my fault that I did not collect the parcel. But that is a post office staff who forgot to put the information into the system that the item was delivered to them.
