We moved to the South Burnett just under 2 years ago. We stumbled across this post office when organising documents for our son and daughters new employment.

Tracey and the staff here are so beautiful and helpful. Our teenage kids both love them. We'd give them a thousand stars but 5 stars was the most this review would allow.

If I could give 0 I would. The lady who is in charge firstly has the worst customer service ive ever encounted rude, swearing in front of customers, as i was there different customers left and i heard her gossip about each one of them to other staff members as soon as they walked out of the store where is the confidentiality? She then was talking to a customer about another person and their family telling them where they lived and other personal information. This is honestly a disgrace and shocking to see that someone like this handles our personal mail maybe Aus post needs to rethink who they let run their post offices. I no longer will be returning to such a shocking and poor run post office.

Wondai Post Office is well known for being run by one of the meanest and rudest business owners that most people will ever encounter! Wondai is a small town and word gets around, ask almost anyone and they will tell you about their negative experiences with this Post Office, I personally have had "several" items disappear (or obviously stolen) from within this post office, not lost before they get there but they have arrived at this post office and then disappeared/stolen, I have also bough items that have been broken straight out of the box and the owner rudely "refused" to refund or replace the item, I immediately contacted other near by Post Offices who assured me they would of certainly 100% refunded my money or replaced the item and they did not want to comment on the Wondai Post Office's owners behavior because they quote "Sadly, sometimes had to work with her!". I have also received emails telling me that items have arrived at the post office for pickup & upon going there and asking I was told (after she checked) that there was no item there, on 2 separate occasions I actually saw the package right in front of me behind the counter & had to tell the owner that I could see my item right there & that I cant leave until I get it, She was not happy & very reluctantly handed My item over to me. Another important note about his Post Office is that they seriously "Overcharge" for Postage! I have posted identical items at Wondai Post Office and Murgon Post office only to have Murgon Post office charge almost Half the Postage price of the Wondai Post office! Illegal? most likely! I have always been extremely polite to all staff at Wondai Post Office (as I am everywhere) & like so many others have been treated horribly, ripped off, lied to & stolen from. Please avoid this Post Office at all costs as nobody deserves to be treated like this. Please use another Post Office like the very friendly and honest Murgon Post Office.
