Clarity and honesty from Day 1.
When I was in my 20's I got charged for a crime I didn't commit, and with no knowledge of the criminal/justice system I was taken for a ride by the first lawyer I had a free consultation with, for over two years of stress and over $35k.
Late last year I got charged once again and through my previous experience I lined up six different lawyers for a free consultation. Osman Samin was the second lawyer I met, however the first and only lawyer who listened to my version of events and was honest about the possible conclusions. However the highlighted difference was Osman's concern for my welfare and mental state. I met the remaining four lawyers on my list and they never let me finish my version of events, nor did they actually care about my well-being.
The costs presented by the 6 different lawyers ranged from $6000 to $45,000 and Osman's quote was towards the lower end, but I did not think twice about choosing Osman due to the unique difference between himself and the other lawyers. Osman listened to my version of events and actually cared about my well-being.
