Balmain Public School is a great place to send your kids. The teachers there are wonderful and all the students there are very friendly. The OC curriculum is amazing. The space in their classrooms gives the BEST vibe. The teachers love all the students and even if the school is small we make the most of it. 😘

A kid pulled my pants down and then he refused to be my slave. The kids there have mental issues and identify as anything from pink attack helicopters to fighter jets. We're not even allowed to run just because we might knock over and concuss a kindergartner or two. The year ones also taste way too chewy. It's like they've never heard of medium rare.

OC classes terrible. Teachers favour their respective gender and all the students are loud and obnoxious. Don't send your child here.

The school does not care students to steal things from others and teachers do not take actions to stop the behaviour. And teachers do not pay attention to food sharing which can cause high health risks after advice from parents

The food and facilities were better than the teachers, who were mediocre at best. One of the OC teachers didn't know how to add negative numbers, and another would always justify her frequent mistakes by saying everyone made them. Overall, just a buncha lost potential

after graduating year 6 in 2019, and heading to high school i released how horrible this school truly was, assigning me homework that had no education benefit to me at all. the toilets where never cleaned normally finding unusable toilets leaving me with a bladder infection.

Teachers handing out "red cards" like it candy for small mistakes like forgetting to do the homework which promoted a question of : do you think election voting should be compulsory. like really do i need to give me opinion on that as a 12 year old?

My art teacher at the time, would criticise our artworks, saying they where bad (telling me that my drawing of sushi looked nothing like the sort and i should just throw it away.), and should just get rid of it overall. This led to me hating art and never embruing my creative side again.

The Medical training the staff at this school has isn't even up to standard, i was belling from my knee after falling over and they simply gave me an icepack for a wound? what

Now as someone with a younger sibling who still goes to this school i am not allowed on the grounds at all, this includes all parents and carers. no one is allowed, this has been in place since covid. its insane.

We very dearly hate this place after they rejected us. We planned to build a new swimming pool but they turned the massive offer down and built these pathetic aluminium classrooms instead, the area is also poorly drained, resulting in floods. In our opinion, it would’ve been great if they let us put a swimming pool here.
