Good stock levels of the basics needed to get yourself back on the road after The Telegraph Track does its damage. Obviously the prices are higher, but it’s very remote, which is totally understandable.

Went in after flooding my hilux the day before. Positive is they saw me very quickly.
I had already run a scan tool on the car and from a quick google search had found that I likely needed the turbo module replaced. Went in and discussed this with the mechanic on hand. He immediately said he wasn’t familiar with using scan tools so said he’d figure it out the old fashioned way. After about an hour and a half (most of the time he spent trying to figure out how scan tools worked). They charged me $220 to say that my turbo actuator needed to be changed and that the module was fine. The part would take 3 days to get there and it would be $600. Taking their word I left and came back 3 days later. By then, they had forgotten who I was. And forgotten my number so didn’t contact me. After 2 hours I was told the part wouldn’t arrive for at least another week. I then went to get a second opinion from another mechanic. Within 10 minutes he had the turbo module out (what I assumed originally was the problem) had the replacement in the next day. And off I went. I called this mechanic to let them know they wasted 3 days of my time and $220 for the wrong diagnosis. Only for them to get angry at me for not paying for the actuator I don’t need.

I sadly trusted Auto Marine to repair my Landcruiser 105s. I can now tell that the mechanician that took care of my car wrecked it. I payed 700 dollars for him to damage it. The only thing that still works : the new battery that we had to install ourselves. I understand that there is not enough staff in your company. But it's not a good enough reason to employ bad ones. Our lives and security on the road depend on good ones.
When the very same seal of our fuel injector that was repaired pourred fuel even worst than before, I understood that the mechanician was not reliable and that the car could have caught fire. And lastly our air intake hose was damaged during the repair. We we're assured that it happened all the time and that it would be fine, taking advantage of our credulity as foreigners. The Air intake hose was fixed with duck tape, since we we're not offered a new one. We later found out that there was a finer crack that was missed which led to Cape York dust in our engine and unfortunatly caused irreversible damage to our engine. I have to add that our car was thouroughly checked before the trip to the Tip as we wanted a reliable car. On that note always make sure of the credentials of your mechanician if you don't want to have to get your car fixed to another one. Cheers.
