I came to Beck Legal Group because of a professional recommendation, after an awful experience with another Gold Coast law firm in what is a very serious legal matter.
My experience in my PREVIOUS Gold Coast firm (who call themselves boutique, and one of the best/most expensive) was both professional negligence/misconduct coupled with gross overcharging. Inadequate representation and lack of due diligence all round. Not a firm that advocates for fathers as suggested at all. Poor response time, poor communication and correspondence. Late or lack thereof efforts regarding deadlines and filing as required and empowered. Would not recommend and can only advise GO ELSE WHERE!

I can accept a negative outcome in my mind, I'm used to that. Unfortunately the outcome was actually not necessary under review of several other law firms, beside the outcome I was left standing high and dry at a court appearances yet charged for a full day, on what I thought would have been a important hearing my lawyer had better things to do as the hearing started.

No follow up calls at the end of any hearing. Including what many would consider important and that being the reason. Honestly I think they just hit and hope, yes a comment made from the other sides barrister but I think he was spot on. This law firm doesn't know and just hits and hopes. As long as they are getting paid I don't think they care.
