When the builder of my house in Dubbo NSW refused to repair the defective house he had built for me and tried to blame ME for the slab heave by accusing me of overwatering the grass, I lawyered up and sought the advice of John Carpenter from Blackwell Short.

Around 18 months later, John had secured me a great result where the engineers who designed the defective slab purchased the home back off me at market value and reimbursed me for all my legal expenses, expert reports, stamp duty on a new home, removal costs etc.

We were able to get this fantastic result without having to go through the full court process which was ideal.

John worked with me every step of the way to achieve this result and was both flexible and accommodating with regards to payment since legal services do not come cheap.
