⚠️ ‼️ BEWARE
We had an extremely disappointing experience with Border Conveyancing. Rebecca was incompetent and unprofessional throughout the entire process. She failed to follow up on critical matters, provided no proactive legal advice, and left me constantly chasing her for updates. I had to ask countless questions just to get basic information, and even then, responses were slow and extremely vague.

To make matters worse, just before exchange/settlement, she suddenly dropped us as clients with a vague excuse, stating:

"Jordan and Kate, given the floods and the situation we are currently in, I think it is best you take your contract and have someone else act for you on this matter. Please let the agent know who you choose to use so that she can inform the other side for further communication. I don’t think we can act for you any further."

This was shocking and completely unprofessional, leaving us in a difficult position at a critical moment. Her lack of diligence, accountability, and communication has caused unnecessary stress and delays. I would not recommend Border Conveyancing to anyone looking for reliable and competent support.

Thanks Sebastian for you professional & thorough service. Sebastian is the solicitor I recommend with all your property transactions. My sale and purchase was handled by his and his team in May, it’s wasn’t a straightforward purchase due to title issues, and Sebastian worked it out with no fuss and clear communication. His calm and friendly manner made me feel very reassured at all times, as I was a nervous at times. Always responded clearly & was always kept abreast of issues. Buying in NSW and selling in Queensland…. Or vice versa, don’t look any further. These guys are the experts

Conveyancer acted for my mum and would not recommend. In short:

1. Didn’t provide a draft copy of the contract prior to signing, when queried they asserted a phone call occurred prior to which call logs and a missed call message showed was incorrect.
2. Acted for both parties without providing written advice as to the potential conflict.
3. Barely any advice prior to contract and through the sale process.
4. Only received a copy for the first time - week after signing and had to ask for it.
5. Somehow the purchaser contract was different than the vendor which caused an issue.
