Food was absolutely delicious. So tasty and comforting like it was made by an Italian grandmother. Lovely friendly service. Enjoyed the atmosphere outside on the street Italian style.

Restaurant was super busy due to being Good Friday, however the staff did an excellent job in turning the tables and keeping the guests satisfied.
Food was tasty, the Carbonara is an “Aussie” version with cream and had a nice punch of flavour.
Definitely get the cheesecake, was a great close to the evening.

We had a lovely experience at Bottega Toscana. The food and service were amazing, with a really nice family feel. We can’t wait to come back. A beautiful little spot on the main strip of Port Fairy.

We came pretty late because of a long drive but the service was still absolutely lovely and welcoming. All three of us had amazing food.
The Ossobuco, Carbonara and Meatballs can all be highly recommended, get some garlic bread to spoon some of the pasta 🙂

Exquisite Dining Experience at Bottega Tosacana

My solo dinner experience at Bottega Tosacana was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped in, I knew it was the perfect choice for the evening.

I opted for the Lamb Spezzatino d’Agnello as my main dish, and it exceeded all expectations. The boneless lamb stew, slow-cooked with Italian sofrito, red wine, zucchini, and sweet potatoes, was a culinary masterpiece. Not only was it gluten-free, but every bite was bursting with flavour.

To satisfy my sweet tooth, I indulged in the tempting Wild Berry Baked Cheesecake, which was a delightful finale to my meal. Paired with locally grown seasonal berries and served with vanilla ice cream, it was a heavenly treat.

Accompanying my meal was a glass of Yarra Valley's finest, the In Dreams Pinot Noir, which complemented the flavors perfectly.

The service was top-notch, with attentive staff ensuring that every need was met. The atmosphere was just right, with the perfect balance of music, respectful diners, and ambient lighting. The seating was comfortable, and the restrooms were impeccably clean.

I would gladly dine at Bottega Tosacana again and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience, especially for the lamb dish, which was truly outstanding.

Possibly the worst dining experience in recent memory. Book for 7.45 no table until 40 mins later, total chaos, people waiting everywhere. Apparently 3 staff down, regardless, poor service, bring sparkling water but no glasses, they’re being washed was reason. No manager was present by looks, chaotic, people missing orders etc. food was ok but drowned in sauce. I sincerely doubt this is owned by an Italian, because this level of service would never be tolerated.

Really lovely experience. The pasta was great, even if i could have used a little extra meat. The tables are all jammed in quite close but it actually adds to the cosy authentic atmosphere. There has been live music with a violin being played when we have come before - really nice touch, although not sure how often this happens. Everyone was very friendly and we had a great evening

As another has said they really need a nominated floor manager on busy nights to ensure everyone is happy and to not overbook. Our order was initially lost and I had to politely keep going up to the counter to remind them.
