Editing this review as my family and I have been using this practice for a few years now;

Reception, staff and Drs are all lovely and have taken very good care of us through lots of ups and downs. They do a lot for the health of the community. But I can't give full 5 stars as when all phone lines are in use you cannot connect to them (line busy).

Surely you can implement a better phone intake system that can hold incoming calls. Getting a line busy 50% of the time I call is super discouraging.

Bribie doctors and reception were fantastic with my daughter. They took precautions as my daughter had the sniffles (not the reason for our appointment and she tested negative to Covid and influenza prior to appointment) and kept her separate. Doctor Margaret was fantastic and explained in a way so that my daughter understood everything by the time we left. Absolutely fantastic clinic! Would definitely recommend.

2 star review is becaue of the receptionists being very rude and arrogant. Thought this on my first visit but didn't pay too much attention to it. But then a week later on a follow up appointment they were even worse.
Docter Pommerel is a great doctor and the nurse was freindy and great too.
Receptioists behave way above their pay grade. If it wasn't for the decency of the doctors and nurse I would not return.

I see Dr Van Dansik for over 10 years and my wife sees Dr Gador, our experience is that all staff are very professional and polite, our doctors go out of their way to look after us, there has been times when its been urgent and no appoints were available, we get a telephone call from our doctors.
I have no hesitation to highly recommend this practice.

Don’t expect to get seen at anywhere near the time that you booked. This practice has a habit of over booking to accommodate walk in’s leaving people that booked with whatever is left. Surely the walk in’s could wait but no, they arrive after you do and are seen before you. The walk in’s that were considered more important than my child were literally getting a new prescription. I was told “ just how it is, we triage” apparently not based on medical conditions though or you would consult patients about urgency. No sorry, just a dispassionate shrug from a rude angry receptionist. Came to resolve my child’s medical issue. Left with a worse problem than we began with. So much worse my son had to be hospitalised as a result. Not a practice that cares for their patients. Very money driven with no accountability taken. Go anywhere else. Literally

I’ve been receiving wonderful care from Dr Vandansik for many years. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful. The nurses also great. So glad to be a patient at Bribie Drs.

Reviewed by Dr Michael Rainer who was not only very rude & extremely judgemental over my presenting complaint but also totally ignored my high blood pressure putting it down to a couple of erroneous readings, then had the audacity to charge me $188 for the consultation. I would not recommend this young Doctor to anyone!

When you book an appointment at a certain time, common courtesy would be for the reception staff to let you know if the doctor is running late. Had an appointment at 4.10pm. Arrived on time. Still waiting at 4.40pm and when I asked the receptionist was told that there was another patient before me. Not the first time this happens so I'm considering changing practice.
