My partner and I used Brisbane Conveyancing for the purchase of our home in March and the whole experience was horrible and added an additional layer of stress to purchasing our home that we didn't need. We will definitely not use Brisbane Conveyancing again, and will certainly not recommend them to anyone.

After we agreed to use them we found out that rate and water search were not included in their fees and would be an additional cost, hence why they are cheaper than other firms.

Communication was poor, and the emails we received were clearly copy and paste templates. The replies to our questions were always confusing and there was never any care factor to help us understand any of our queries. We tried to call a few times and could never get through to our paralegal, Stephi. We were promised she would return our calls but it never happened.

Two days before our settlement date we found ourselves having to chase her up to make sure everything was on track. We received a reply the day before settlement reminding us that the water and rate search had not been completed and that we should push back our settlement (at additional costs). My partner tried calling and emailing Stephi, which went without reply. We ended up settling without the water and rate search being completed. I understand that we should have remembered this as well, we just think it's really poor service that Brisbane Conveyancing did not prompt us at all on this, and were then not contactable to discuss this, the day before we settled.

We complained to Brisbane Conveyancing after our settlement and after several follow ups we have not received a reply or acknowledgement at all from them.
