I would like to congratulate and thank the council or looks after Childers in Qld. We are traveling around in our motorhome, towing a boat and Childers have provided the BEST parking bay within the town CBD for us thousand of travelers. As you would be aware we spend a lot of money each time we stop for various supplies and to have somewhere safe, so close to all the shops, dump point, fresh water and to be able to free park overnight for short periods is absolutely wonderful. Many other councils should take a lesson to accommodate us, as we estimate we all spend $2-300 each pit stop and judging by the volume of vehicles which have past through this RV friendly parking space this Saturday morning alone, is amazing. Childers must definitely benefit by the huge cashflow we all inject into this very friendly community. Thank you again and well done.
