A very comfortable two night stay while we rode the South Burnett Rail Trail and celebrated our 48th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, due to the impending cyclone, all the reservations in the restaurant were cancelled and we were the only ones there along with one lone diner. Hence the atmosphere was lacking and we weren't offered a second drink, dessert. Felt the girl just wasn't too interested. Having said that, the food was absolutely delicious. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Clean, quiet, comfortable rooms.

Me and my friend went to the Burke and wills for dinner last night 16.3.25 we sat down I would have to go find the lady to get a drink every time I wanted one and we were told it was table service. We ordered to medium to well done steaks they come out so dry and over well done I couldn’t even chew it that’s after waiting 50 minutes for our meals to come out. The waiter who I believe runs the motel when talking to her that our steak wasn’t cooked to order she went to the kitchen come back and said that is a medium well done steak and It would of been cooked even longer if we had ordered well done. We were told if we don’t like the meals we were served we could finalise our bill and go elsewhere, I have never felt and experienced such a unkind awful way to treat someone the behaviour was absolutely disgusting my poor friend was absolutely beside her self and it had a very negative impact on us both.

Booked a Deluxe Queen Room for one night. It was tiny, not sure what made it Deluxe?Ordered breakfast, but the restaurant was not open due to too few bookings. Had to ask for a second chair for the room so we could both sit to eat, just very cramped.|However, the breakfast was delicious and massive, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower was great.|The internet didn't work, whether it was raining or sunny.|Convenient location close to restaurants and shops.

My double room was spacious, quiet, clean and well decorated. Most comfortable pillows that I have ever experienced.
Check in was seamless and very efficient. There was a stocked bar fridge, of which I seldom utilise, however I retuned from the function I had attended on the evening and felt a little hungry, so I purchased a packet of potato crisps. They were fresh and not overpriced.
As the hotel is only 400m from the RSL club, the location of my function, I can only give 5 stars for location.

A really good experience, while hosting our yearly QICA Conference in the area. I cannot fault the staff or service provided by the Burke & Wills. Very conveniently located and high quality dining options at the in-house restaurant and for room service. The room was great and had everything I needed. the location is also fantastic as everything we needed to access while in town, was only a quick walk away. Marvelous IGA just across the road too, for convenience.

Highly recommend this accommodation. I have been staying here for work & can't fault them. Staff are very welcoming & bend over backwards to assist. The showers are great, beds comfortable & pillows are so good I used them instead of the ones I brought from home. The in-house restaurant is very quaint with a good atmosphere. The meals are amazing & extra handy to be able to have dinner delivered to my room after a long day. Highly recommend 🥰
