I was in two minds and very nervous before my appointment to get my individual tax return done. The receptionist Carole who also booked my appointment was very friendly and professional. I was highly impressed at how quick and efficient Chad the accountant was. I was only in his office for 5-10 minutes and thankfully my tax return was very simple to get done. The next day, I received the declaration forms to read and sign with a summary of my total income and estimated refund. Thank you for making this an easy and stress free for me.

the simple tax return for my husband was sitting on the accountant desk for over 11 months. As a result the Centrelink is demanding I pay back over 3000 dollars because the tax return was not lodged. The Centrelink sent us a letter on 19/03/2021 advising that if the tax return is not lodged by 30/06/21 they will demand the money they paid me back. We forwarded this letter to Burrell Accounting and ask them to not delay please. Burrell Accounting re-assured us its under control. But it was not as I found out after 11 months by receiving a letter from Centrelink demanding to pay immediately. There was no attempt made by Burrel Accounting to advise us about the delay with the tax return or any other problem for the entire period of 11 months. Burrel Accoutning offered no assistance with Centrelink when I asked them on the phone but promised to magically lodge the unfortunate tax return straight away. Its ok to make a mistake but its not ok to make no effort to rectify it .

Jeff and I are fortunate to have found Chad Burrell as our accountant for our physiotherapy business . He has been efficient , effective and available to discuss our accountancy needs.
