Horrible experience. Pricey $$ and service was shocking
My wife and I engaged with them to represent a transfer of title - standard.
The paperwork they produced was riddled with errors - simple stuff: names, birth dates etc.
Had to re-read everything myself (what are we paying them for).
Very hard to get a response and once settlement happened, they hadn’t even done the adjustments correctly and I receive bills that the other party are to pay.
No responses from them and didn’t even get a summary after settlement.
AVOID at all costs. Stress, incompetence and a joke.
Use ANY other conveyancers when settling a property

Don't waste your time with this firm. Our experience was with Vita Battiato. A letter sent on our behalf was sent 4 weeks after originally promised, letter was rushed and was inaccurate even though meeting and documentation provided. We could have done a better job ourselves. Not given an opportunity to read draft for accuracy. No apology for this. No follow up with matter even though date deadline given in letter. Had to chase and chase the entire time. They don't respond to emails or phone messages had 10 no responses. Last resort had to contact the Legal Services Board & Commissioner to resolve. Even then it took 4 weeks for them to resolve the amount owed to us and an other 2 weeks to refund the balance owing when amount was agreed. Wish we had read the google review before wasting our time and putting our misguided faith with this Lawyer. Just keep walking.......

Posting this on behalf of my grandparents' experience

Grandparents are from non-English speaking background and went in to enquire about getting a will written.

The solicitor knew the nature of the visit was an enquiry, but
the solicitor directed questions to extract personal details from my grandparents before any discussion regarding pricing or payment,

The solicitor spent a maximum of 15 mins (which the firm disputes unsurprisingly) with my grandparents posing questions and gathering details. Once again, before any agreement was formalised or instructions were given, my grandparents felt like they were being pressured and left the premises.

The solicitor then sent a hefty bill to my grandparents address demanding payment for drawing up documents WHICH MY GRANDPARENTS HAVE NEVER EVEN SEEN NOR RECEIVED, and despite our requests for them to stop stressing the old folk, they continue to do so. They know themselves their case for seeking payment is invalid and tenuous at best, yet they continue to cause us grief.

Avoid at all costs.
