A great community library. Usually quiet, and there are many places to sit, chill out, or read a newspaper. A great library for studying too, as the wifi works and is relatively fast. A lot of students come here to study.

The selection of books is large, and the staff are helpful and approachable. The library is clean and well lit.

The only downside is that it gets quite loud when they have the kids activity sessions (on Wednesday afternoons I believe). This can be solved by a pair of earphones. Also, sometimes there are not enough tables to study at, however if you arrive before 10am there are usually free seats.

Overall, a great library!

Once again appalling 'service' at Cambridge library at Floreat Forum.
It seems the ones with genuine customer service leave! I can see why when the front counter 'grey haired' staff member is always rude, disrespectful and disinterested. I now travel much further to a far more welcoming library. Such a disappointment. We should be managing our Libraries better.

It is a great place to study or work. However, the noisy is impossible to avoid with children around.

One of most annoying and noisy libraries ever had. A library with kind of childcare activities brings tons of chaos, and staff do nothing about it. On the contrary, staff will blame you if picking up phone calls!!!

To the Librarian/Library Teacher that runs the story-time session every Thursdays at 10:30am, you are an absolute gem. I bring my two little boys here every week. She is extremely professional, articulate, and her ability to manage a group of screaming kids (sometimes up to 20-30 kids) shows how talented she is. Last week she gave the kids trees to grow in our yard and this week they made flowers for Mother’s Day. You are a star ⭐️

Great place to study. Could do with a few more study spaces since it’s always packed with a couple of seats left. Noise is moderate, not too quiet but not disruptive. Definitely quieter than uwa library which is why I come here

This library has a children's area but it is very unfriendly for children.

The librarian told us off for making too much noise because a toddler was pushing chairs around (not even being verbally loud). All three families in the area felt the librarian was rude and the rule inappropriate.

There are no walls or sound dimishing screens for the children's area and it's located right next to the quiet study desks.

Noting that it has books and puzzles for toddlers and a baby rhyme time but children can't make any noise.

Not recommended for families.

We meet weekly for our Better Hearing (WA) Lipreading Classes (already a good learning experience!) in their Social Events room, and the staff at Cambridge Library look after us well. We are even given access to their big screen so the lipreading app we use is easy to view. Very happy with the place!
