Jessica assisted us with our four year search for our first home. This eventually led to an off the plan purchase.

She was great with explaining everything that was required and some of the dangers of going this path.

Unfortunately, we did end up getting stuck in a situation where the outcome was quite different to expectations. With Jessica's help, we were able to get what we paid the developer for, which has made us feel far happier once we moved in.

I never wish the entire process on anyone, as developers and the lawyers can play chicken with you until settlement date.

All I can say is avoid off the plan - unless its a reputable, large and trusted developer you might actually get lucky. Don't avoid Jessica though - she's excellent.

Stay away from this practice. WHAT A NIGHTMARE
My elderly mother 90 yrs and I were looking for a new Solicitor as we wanted our Wills updated. We were dealing with Diana Simoni. We were requested to sign Authority Forms to obtain our existing Wills from our former Solicitors. We completed them sent them back. 3 WEEKS later we were requested to now suppy Photo Identification so we did that as well. Since it was now 3 weeks and nothing had been started we scanned the copy of the original Will with a set of instructions to Ms Simoni to try and get things moving. I advised Ms Simoni I was drawing up my Will but just had a question regarding condensing information into one paragraph and putting a trust into my Will for a relative. Ms Simoni would email saying she would be ringing and wouldnt most of the time. That she would be sending documents and never did. Advised us she was sending us documents that we had advised her we didnt need. 10 days later I receive my Will with an invoice $463. All she had done was reformat it to how she liked it. There was no provision made for my relative. When I raised the cost with her and the fact that there was nothing in my Will which I requested I received an email requesting I supply some details and she will send me a quote to do this. She was asked when my mother could expect to have her Will completed. Ms Simoni stated she was ringing my mother to clarify some things. She did this and I was present I heard the conversation. There was nothing different said to Ms Simoni that werent in the written instructions.
Ms Simoni did wish to ask if in the case myself and sibling pass away prior to her where does her estate go. My mother replied to my grandchildren. Ms Simoni knew the circumstances of one of these grandchildren but never raised the issue with my mother at all.

The next day Ms Simoni sent my mothers Will and it was WRONG in so many areas. Instructions were not followed. The POA paperwork was also incomplete and she wished to be given information. She had only been on the phone to my mother the previous morning and now she was sending incomplete paperwork and a WILL with WRONG information and invoice for $647.
This was brought to the attention of Ms Simoni who stated we didnt have to worry about how the inheritance was left to the grandchild as it was unlikely that my Mothers 2 daughters would pass away before us (the two daughters) anyway. I sent an email to Ms Simoni expressing my disaapointment at that comment as I lost my partner when he was 23 yrs old and a friend lost her son when he was 8yrs highly unlikely but it happened. I then sent an email to Robert Cameron the principle and made a complaint. I also requested that I would be interested to know how Ms Simoni had a gift for knowing when people will pass away. I then requested that the our Original Wills be forwarded from their office by registered mail to my address.
Robert Camerons reply was that he didnt see that Ms Simoni had done anything wrong. He didnt think that there was anything wrong with the length the of time she took to prepare relative simple papers . That she had followed instructions and that she had also offered to amend the documents if we wished. His last line was We do not have your original Wills contact your former Solicitor,

I have since gone to another Solicitor who was professional followed instructions explained things listened to us and has done it all in 4 days at half the cost.
