We thought Echuca would be a great place to visit, coming out of lockdown in Victoria. The experience was by far the worst in all my domestic and international travels. Locals are rude, lacking in basic courtesy and customer service skills. A boring town with nothing to do, lacking diversity and the council does not care to advertise activities or holiday events. The 1 star goes to the Murray river which was beautiful.

I Received my Rate notice with a charge of $61.40 for a Recycle bin that I do not Require
When I asked can I have that amount taken off my Rate notice the answer was NO.
As this person said it's compulsory and it's Law to have this bin
When I asked whose Law Government or Council the Person had NO idea.
So I then asked can I swap my Recycle bin for a smaller Garden waste bin, and again I was told NO.
I truly thought that council was there for the good of it's Rate Payers.
VERY DISSAPPOINTED NO CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE

As a local ,the council do not care about anyone but lining their own pockets, cannot respond to any emails or calls, rates keep going up and get nothing for it, VERY POOR USELESS IDIOTS THAT RUN THIS PLACE.

Don’t move to the Campaspe Shire your dreams will be destroyed. Big Business and there money comes first you don’t matter! God bless this shire they definitely don’t care about the little person! They have no soul!
